The service of this branch is seriously poor if you are a buyer. I and my wife booked viewing a property 111 Travers Way, SS13 3LU on 26.02.22 at 1 pm. We were there at the property on time. The vendor was at the property but no one from Bairstoweves was there, the vendor didn't open the door and asked me from inside to contact the agent, I rang many times but no answer, I rang their other branch in Basildon, Josh told me he is contacting Fryerns br. soon, ultimately the vendor didn't open the door and I couldn't view the property. 2 days gone, none of them contacted me yet. We went from London to Basildon to view the property, ultimately our whole Saturday wasted because of their poor service. I can remember, they did the same thing last year for a property address 42 Mistley side, SS16 4AP. This is a shame!! SHAME on your service!!... Read more

If you decide to use this agent, make sure you do not use Countrywide Conveyancing Services as they strongly will be offering to use them! It now has been 11 days when I am not able to get refund of £400. Been talking and talking to them and all I can hear is a promises only. And if you already in use off Countrywide Conveyancing always contact them directly , because of my situation Mr Shane Grey did not passed info on time so now I will be paying for unnecessary ID checks. I am now glad that sale & purchase had to be cancelled as whole situation showed how poor service is.... Read more

Many years ago I bought the property through Bairstow so decided to sell through them as well. At the time of writing this review, we have just exchanged contracts and that was in spite of one sale falling through. Bairstow immediately found me another buyer. The staff at Bairstow have all been so supportive to get to this point and at all times have been exceptionally considerate. I don't tend to name names because its a good team effort, but Steve Rew has kept me informed at every turn of everything that has happened. The good communications started with the first sight of the property with Jordan, who was clear and straight and no flannel, then both Steve and Ross showed potential buyers, with Steve taking the main role, and back up from Emma. Great communication from the team and an exceptionally good Estate Agents. I live outside Essex so this was done over the phone and I can genuinely say, if you are looking to move to or from the area, they are certainly worth working with. I sold my property through Baristow Eves. My property was listed with other three agents and 8 month passed without receiving a decent offer. Jorden, one of their agents knocked at the door and said that he would like to have my property with their agency. If he would call I would say no but he explained how their agency works and that I have nothing to loose. I said yes and in one month I received the offer for the money I asked for. The agents from top to bottom are professional peoples and was a pleasure to work with them. Emma and Steve took care of me. They called if was a cancellation of the viewing, had my property keys when I was in hospital, kept inform me and my children all the way down. I don't have words enough to say thank you for how they dealt with the selling, how quickly kept me and the buyer informed with the negotiations, and the agreement in 24 of December was follow of completion in two month.
