Our interaction with Ballards was as a buyer for one of the properties they were marketing. We dealt with Phillip Hamp who, from the first viewing to completion, was excellent. One of the most enthusiastic, friendly people I've ever met! He was very accessible, his communication was excellent and he helped guide us through the whole process. When he was away for a while, his colleague Ian Cudworth seamlessly took over with equal aplomb. Can highly recommend. Many thanks!

The lack of ‘hot air’ produced by Ian and the team at Ballard is such a relief. I don’t generally take estate agents at their word, but trust Ballard completely; they are my ‘no brainer’ option in Marlow.

For an industry that attracts more than its fair share of bad press, I have to say I have been very pleasantly surprised here. Ballards both sold me and have now sold my home, and the experience from 'both sides of the fence' has been excellent in all respects. Specifically, very impressed with the professional service from Philip. His attention to detail generally and to what actually matters in particular I cannot fault. Communications and advice spot on at all times, he even made great recommendations for solicitors and moving services which have also helped enormously. Definite 'recommend'!

The team at Ballards were fantastic as our move involved selling 2 properties and all it's complexities, but they really pulled out all the stops to make it happen. I am very happy to add my review. We were looking to move into the Marlow area, renting initially with a view to buying somewhere. AJ lined us up with a rental property that we signed for the same day. That was in April this year.
Since then AJ has been proactive in helping with our longer-term plan to buy in Marlow. I must admit we did give AJ a broad list of requirements. We managed to whittle things down with a few properties viewed and picking AJ's brain for his knowledge of the local area. We got there in the end and we have just completed our purchase and moved in. In the end things happened fairly quickly. Many thanks to AJ and the team for helping us manage what could have been quite a stressful year. All completed in time for Christmas, we can't thank you enough.

I put in interest of the morning of a new property advertisement and had given my details and my position to purchase being a first time buyer. I also told them I had a mortgage in principle and was ready to go for the right property. I was told by AJ Brewster when I called later that afternoon, the property was taken off sale and we would be contacted by them. I decided to call today as I had no update, and I was told that people had been chosen to view on their basis to move forward swiftly. Myself being a first time buyer with a mortgage in principle I thought the least they could do is to contact me if anything. AJ Brestwer the company manager ended calling me pathetic for questioning the reasoning behind not being called for a viewing and at least being contacted. He went on to confirm the chosen people were not First come and first serve. It makes sense if they weren’t chosen on their current basis of being in a position to buy like myself, then it Comes down to seeing the names on paper. This is unacceptable by all means and not fair for anyone to be treated in such a manner . Not even an explanation is even given , and you are called names by the management , as they have no reasoning not to contact you. Everyone should be treated equally and not be treated any less than anyone else. This kind of behaviour is totally unacceptable. I do not wish anyone to go through the same experience with this company. I hope this helps them to better themselves to show equality and treat all customers fairly moving forward.
