I had a very bad experience renting a property from Ballards. They were dishonest, completely one sided (in landlords favour, often threatening ridiculous charges to tenants) and highly unprofessional. I complained to the lettings manager and he was both disrespectful and uninterested. I've rented from many different estate agents and never encountered such a poor service before. I would NEVER use Ballards again and recommend avoiding them all together.

Ballards sold my house quickly after another agent had failed to sell it. They were extremely professional, helpful and went well beyond the call of duty to get to exchange and completion. Best estate agent in Henley.

Ballards have a very impressive inability to manage lettings properties properly 1) They do not have appropriately experienced lettings management capabilities to identify and manage problems as they arise in a timely fashion and are experts at letting issues run for months / years until they are fixed. More often than not they will ignore a problem even exists 2) In addition to this the tradesmen they hire lack any form of basic skills or experience & in addition to this lack responsiveness 3) The result of 1+2 is a complete shambles of a service and landlords and tenants should be very wary of transacting with them.

Pure lack of communication was the biggest problem. Very little information before viewing regarding possible buyers situation,
whether they were a cash buyer, had house to sell, or had property to sell, was it on the market or not. After viewings feed back was virtually zero, so frustrating.
