From the minute we contacted Campbells about a property to the first viewing we were incredibly impressed with the ‘not the norm’ estate agent process. No hard sell, incredible area knowledge, excellent property knowledge and best of all incredibly friendly and helpful people.
Unfortunately, for personal reasons we had to postpone our sale but will be heading back to Campbells in the future to see if they can find us another dream home.

We have bought from Campbells but we would recommend to anyone looking to sell. Jamie's dedication to the sale is unmatched and his property knowledge and local area knowledge were impressive. Sian was equally polite and helpful as our sale progressed.
Ourselves and the sellers wanted things to go through quickly and Campbells were dedicated to this as were the solicitors which made it a very smooth process.
They set up a WhatsApp group for our sale progression which meant questions etc were easy to communicate and we felt able to contact them at any point during the process. Very knowledgeable and fair as things cropped up as they always do with house sales.

Just started a tenancy and it’s been positive experience so far. Between the viewing and signing the tenancy Jane was very quick to reply to my emails, went out of her way to communicate with me when I was on a different time zone and was very patient! Had a slight issue with the front door when I moved in and Donna came and assisted me, at the end of the day no less! It’s not an easy field to work in (rentals), so I appreciate the communication and friendliness of the ladies I’ve worked with and spoken to. So far so good! Hoping to be here for a long time :)

I have bought two houses from Campbells, one through the Rugby branch and one with Daventry.
I found them to be professional in both cases however have been frustrated that Campbells insisted on sending me marketing information years after I bought houses through them and a good few years since I last raised this exact same point.
They promised then (after I contacted them) to cease and delete my details. Today however I have receive yet another marketing email.
I have updated this from 2 to 3 stars having been contacted by Jamie who has assured me that my details have finally been deleted (as is my legal right).

We have been extremely impressed with their professionalism, honesty, patience and friendly approach. Jamie and Sian have been exceptional throughout the whole process of selling our property and buying our new home.
The early stages were impressive with attractive photographs and very well presented marketing documents that really celebrated our property. We were amazed at the high quality of their brochure and video presentation.

It turned out that that was a great decision when we were next introduced to Sian whose attention to detail and ability to resolve problems both up and down the chain was always reassuring, professional and friendly. Mark at Campbells has sold two properties for us, my mother's in 2016 and ours just this week (19.12.22). This in itself says a lot! Why would we go back to Campbells if we hadn't had a good experience the first time around? We have always found them to be professional, friendly, and courteous. Mark's valuation was spot on. The current market hasn't been the easiest to navigate, and the sale took longer to complete than expected but not as a result of anything Mark or Campbells had or hadn't done.

Mark & Sian were always available to help when needed. They were great when the solicitors dragged their heels and I needed some help giving them a nudge. Any questions I had they were able to answer and they were a great support throughout the whole purchasing process. We were greeted in our new home with a bottle of bubbly courtesy of Campbells, and they continued their support in the 2 weeks after moving in to my property, when I had a few niggles that I needed help with. We had a terrible experience dealing with this agency while looking for a house to rent. It took 3 weeks for our application to go through, and the agent we dealt with, Carla, talked down on us and disrespected us over the phone, tried to make us say things we'd never said, implying we were liars, and trying to get us to pay things we'd never agreed to pay. A nightmare! They didn't trust us and took advantage of our precarious situation to make us pay more than we should have. They pressured us because we're not UK residents (even though we proved our pre-settled status and right to rent in the UK) and treated us like we were naive and unworthy of the respect due to other customers. They tried to get us to pay way more than 5 weeks’ deposit by disguising it as "two months’ additional rent refundable at the end of the tenancy" (I have an email to prove that), as if we were naive enough not to understand what that really meant. Carla judged us based on our income and said we could afford to pay 6 months' rent in advance even though we'd been clear early on that we couldn't pay that much since it was an unfurnished property and we had to buy all the appliances and furniture, which was highly unprofessional and rude of her. She doesn't know our life, and has no right to judge what we can (or want!) to pay for. Agencies shouldn't be the ones handling personal information as it can clearly be used against us, and we were asked to provide much more information than is normally required, supposedly because the landlords were wary of new tenants because of a bad past experience. Even if that's true it wasn't our fault, it doesn't justify everything, and we shouldn't have suffered the consequences of their lack of trust. I personally think they had a problem with us being foreign (or self-employed), because the day they sent us the tenancy agreement (which we obviously didn't sign), we found out it was for a minimum of 6 months instead of the usual 12 months, and saw that they had updated the ad for the house and were already looking for tenants to move in 6 months from now! So they intended to get us out of the house in 6 months, and we would only have found out a month before the end of the tenancy. Thankfully we saved ourselves a lot of time and money. Just to add to their lack of professionalism, they didn't even respond to our last email to apologise for the agent's outrageous behaviour. That's how little respect they had for us. The agent only talked nicely to us early on in the application process, and then she kept getting ruder and ruder. I don't expect them to apologise on here either; they'll probably twist the truth in a way that makes them look like they're the victims. Don't waste your time with this agency.

Mark Heycock recently took care of the sale of my late father's house (my family home) and from start to finish, I can honestly say he's been the best estate agent I've ever used. Right from the beginning he had lot's of time to answer my questions and was really sympathetic to how emotionally hard the sale was for me and family. He helped us achieve the price we wanted for the property and although the process was slow and frustrating (through no fault of Mark's) he kept me informed every step of the way, which is so important. Donna in the office was really efficient and so were the other agents who did viewings for me. They all made a tough time much easier for me and I am extremely grateful for that. I have just sold a house through Campbells and found the whole process from beginning to end friendly, efficient and effortless. Apart from their wonderful philanthropic work in Nepal, which did influence me slightly in my choice of estate agents, Stan was the star of my sale and my primary point of contact. He went out of his way to help me in more than just selling the house. I needed to re-home some conservatory plants from the house and he was kind enough to find a friend who was keen to look after some of them. He always kept me fully informed as to the progress of the house sale as did the rest of the team I dealt with. After my first buyer pulled out suddenly due to mortgage problems, shortly before exchange, Stan and the team were quickly on the case to find a new buyer, without any fuss. There was always detailed feedback after each viewing and the general attitude was always up beat and enthusiastic. This wasn't an easy house to sell being only a one bedroom cottage - in a lovely location but without street access, but Stan and the team found just the right person for the house. I can't find a single negative thing to say about Campbells and would like to say a huge thank you for all their hard work on my behalf. They are true stars!
