Couldn't have asked for a better team to help us buy our first house. From the day we viewed to the day we completed, Tildey and Tom have been nothing but helpful, friendly faces always answering our questions and keeping us informed. Tildey attended both of our viewings showing genuine interest in our house buying journey and plans for the future of the house as well as guiding us through the whole process as first time buyers. Would recommend her every time!

Unfortunately, we did not have a positive experience in trying to sell our home in Basingstoke with Gascoigne-Pees. I have outlined the issues we encountered along with the categories you seek feedback for.
Communication - We struggled to make contact with the agents after viewing or if we wished to discuss strategy. Promised call backs were often not made. It was frustrating.
Valuation accuracy - Sadly, this was not great. The price at which we finally got offers was 12% lower than the original price we were advised we could achieve and within only 3 months of going to market. When we questioned this were were told it was due to "market forces" but we had placed our trust in Nic and Martina that they understood the local market and had advised us correctly. It did not feel that this was the case.
Advertising of the property - We had no concerns with the photographs or listings on the property portals. We were concerned none of the original agents we dealt with showed the property. Those that did could not answer simply questions from potential buyers such as "Is there a chain?".
Value for money - I believe the pricing structure is similar to many other local agents.

We have been delighted with GP service. From the moment we agreed a sale, Elizabeth has been fantastic in not only progressing the sale, but also in keeping us informed of progress. She has been enormously proactive in getting solicitors and buyer to communicate. We felt well looked after as vendors. Thank you!

We have just purchased our first home through Gascoigne-pees. Hands down the easiest and most delightful part of buying our first home, everyone we had the pleasure to speak to were lovely and always happy to help when we needed absolutely anything. A great experience with gascoigne pees. I first contacted them to view a property unfortunately the property had sold that weekend but Martina emailed me and asked what we were looking for. I was quite specific on our location, property type and additional features. A few weeks later Martina rang me out the blue advising that they had a property due to come on the market that fit our requirements. She sent over pictures when she could and booked us in for a viewing. We LOVED the property and it had everything we wanted. Martina was amazing with communication always calling me when I had emailed. So friendly and happy she was a pleasure to deal with. She made buying the property stress free and we are now settled in our new home and so happy. If Martina hadn't kept my details and contacted me i think we may have lost out on this house as it was so popular. Her thoughtfulness has made our family so happy! We would definitely use them again.
