We then had Eleanor Jones as our main contact during the selling process and cannot praise her enough for her professional and honest attitude during the whole process. We were communicated to on every aspect and if Eleanor was unavailable she would ensure Jame's or George kept us up to date. We found all the staff we had contact with in chancellors East Oxford, were nothing but professional and courteous both with ourselves and the prospective buyers of our property. I would just like to take a moment to express my thanks to Chancellors. I have been very happy and satisfied with the service provided from Chancellors. I booked in my valuation with Ella who was very polite, knowledgeable and very understanding of my difficult situation when it came to valuing my property but also selling it the property. I have recently rented a property through the East Oxford branch and I have to say, they were fantastic. From start to finish they were really professional and made the whole experience, which could have been stressful, very pleasant. I spoke with Helen Wood who listened to me from start to finish, which is something I value as my requirements were specific. She showed me a range of properties which were all suited to me and didn't stray from the requirements. The main thing that stood out for me was how responsive she was which I found hard to find with other agents. I have been in the property a while and touch wood, nothing has gone wrong yet but I know I can count on Chancellors to sort them out straight away.

As a first time renter I found the prospect of finding a property daunting, I had heard all the horror stories on the Oxford housing market and was doubting whether I would be able to find a suitable property. I approached Chancellors and was impressed with how attentive they were, I spoke with Adam and he showed me a wide range of properties and gave me honest recommendations on what would suit my needs. I still needed time before I could move in but Adam understood this and would frequently update me on which properties had been added or removed. We've been in the property a while now and I can say how impressed I am with the aftercare, through no ones fault our shower malfunctioned but this was fixed the next day all arranged through chancellors, I would thoroughly recommend them to any house hunter in Oxford.

I was looking for a small rental property in Oxford and was keen to move to the area. When I contacted Chancellors I spoke to Jordan, he was extremely helpful, honest, and provided lots of useful advice about the properties they had for rent, and other general information about the area. In the end I actually ended up renting a property through another agent as Chancellors didn't have what I was looking for at the time. This aside, as the overall customer experience from Jordan was so good, I felt it was necessary to leave a positive review.

I have been working with Chancellors East Oxford branch for nearly five years now managing three different properties. Throughout this time the service has been consistently excellent. The communication has always been clear, prompt and professional. The best thing is the personalised approach, which I haven't come across at other estate agents in Oxford.

My landlord instructed them to market my flat. I explained really politely that we have a newborn baby at home, and due to the COVID outbreak, we will not be letting anyone in.

Jack then replies saying they will insist on access, and use the key while I am out if necessary. Due to the fact that the law says that my parents are not allowed to come and visit their first grand child, on WHAT PLANET is it acceptable to try and insist on complete strangers going into the flat?!?!?

I re iterated that no one will come round, and to Jack's credit he did drop the issue... however he then sent a followup email asking me to arrange a personal clean, or they will make a deduction from my deposit to pay for it. First of all, I didn't rent through Chancellors, so why they think they have any say over my deposit is beyond me. Secondly, a clean was not paid for when we moved in. It would have taken Jack all of about 3 seconds to check this.

So quick to threaten me TWICE when I was nothing but calm and polite in my initial email saying I dont want to put my newborn at risk during a global pandemic. The sheer disregard for fellow human beings is astonishing frankly. "all in this together" indeed.....

They can't seem to perform the simplest of tasks.

I phoned to enquire about a property to rent and asked if the landlord would accept pets as I have one. The agent I spoke to said no but would I consider properties which don't allow pets?

Of course my answer was NO as I had just told him that I have a pet!

He then said he would call me back about upcoming pet friendly properties without even taking my contact details.

It's not really rocket science is it?
