7th Apr 2026 (29 days ago)Extremely disappointing experience with Scott Fraser. We attended a scheduled viewing only to find that the agent didn’t turn up. We ended up being shown around the property by the current tenant, which is completely unacceptable and highly unprofessional. When this was raised, the response and apology from Liberty were minimal and lacked any real accountability. Despite this, we remained serious and submitted an offer. We were clearly told by liberty we would be contacted if there was an opportunity to improve it. That contact never came. Instead, we later found out the landlord had accepted another offer without any communication to us, despite expectations being set. The entire process was poorly handled, disorganised, and lacked even the most basic level of professionalism or courtesy. As someone who has previously worked in estate agency, it’s genuinely surprising to see this level of service still happening. Experiences like this only reinforce the negative stereotypes around the industry. Would not recommend.

They made everything feel smooth and well-managed, always keeping me informed and providing clear, expert advice. Their attention to detail and commitment to delivering a high standard of service really stood out. It’s clear they genuinely care about their clients and go above and beyond to ensure everything is handled seamlessly. I would highly recommend Carter Jonas to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy estate agent. A truly five-star experience!
13th Mar 2026 (8 weeks ago)Katie Edmond’s was outstanding from start to finish with helping us find the right home that fitted us best. She was always very informative with new properties that she thought might be right for us and every viewing we attended to Katie was always there waiting to greet us and ready to showcase the property to it’s full potential. Once we found are property Katie was amazing in helping us with every step of the way. She made the whole process very easy with constant support and communication between us chancellors head office and our new landlord. We truly appreciate everything Katie done for us and can only describe her as totally amazing and wonderful in her role as a chancellors letting agent . I do hope all your agents across the country are as wonderful as Katie. Thank you very much Katie you’re a star ??

On both occasions call-backs were promised but never happened. It seems they can afford to turn away potential clients and business. We will now use other agents.

18th Mar 2026 (7 weeks ago)Dreadful experience from start to finish with Stuart Burtenshaw. Firstly his arrogant aura came across as mocking the way my parents lived when he came to view the property for a probate valuation. I didn't want to put the house on the market because of this but one of my siblings thought that seeing as they knew George Rockall all would be ok - how wrong could they have been...... Stuart Burtenshaw is the most arrogant, rude, unempathetic, person I have ever had the misfortune to meet. He made mistakes throughout the process, he was pushy to except an offer of £70K less than the asking price when our property had only been on the market for less than 8 weeks....needless to say we did not accept it. When he asked which solicitors we used and then advised that they used Lightfoots regularly, which in turn led us to believe he understood their processes, again how wrong could I be.... the actual completion day was an absolute horrendous and very upsetting day, we were advised by our solicitors not to hand over the keys until the solicitors had called us to advise they had received the monies, we received this call at 1pm on the day of completion, followed by a very nasty & pushy call from Stuart Burtenshaw at 1.05pm asking when we could drop the keys in when I said 30 minutes I was told that was totally unacceptable and he demanded to know how long it would be as the new owners had been at the estate agents at 10am...... This we thought was not our problem and Stuart should have known Lightfoots proceedures, and dealt with it accordingly, I asked for 10 minutes, instead he suggested that he just send them down to our house, next thing 5 vans and 2 cars arrived and new owners wanted to come in..... We had no time to say goodbye to our family home of 61 years......... Bitterly disappointed doesn't cover it, my advice would be DO NOT use White Lion to sell a property and if you have to then avoid Stuart Burtenshaw at all cost.- 22nd Apr 2026 (14 days ago)Everyone is so lovely and helpful. I have been kept up to date throughout the process and feel confident that they are supporting me as a seller. I was a little concerned at first that their valuation was £25,000 above what another agent had provided, but I needn't have been as they secured an asking price offer a week after it went onto the market!

All of the staff have always been friendly, helpful, efficient and great to speak to and deal with. We have just started renting our 2nd property with them, and as before..it’s all been as simple as easeful as can be. Any issues or queries are resolved quickly which brings peace of mind.- 4th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)College and county has looked after two rental houses for me for several years and they take all the hassle out of my life. They select great tenants and give regular feedback on how the letting is progressing, they also deal efficiently with the normal household problems like drains, appliance breakages and keep me informed with me having to interrupt my day to sort them out. They have also negotiated HMO licences with the council on my behalf. I have had requests from other letting agencies but am not going to change. Thank you C&C
