They advertise properties that you cannot buy, I assume it's to ensure that they capture your details for marketing purposes. For example, the property in Frances Road, Middle Barton. On 1st October Chancellors told me that it had been sold so no viewings were being accepted. On 9th November it's still showing as for sale and not sold subject to contract. I contacted Chancellors to ask whether the sale had fallen through and it was back up for sale. They ignored this question and simply stated that the property had been sold. Seems to be a thing with Chancellors as I have experienced this with 3 different properties on Right Move and all 3 are 'for sale' with Chancellors Woodstock or Bicester branches.

His energy, confidence and infectious enthusiasm, combined with obvious expertise are a very winning combination, and it was clear from the start that I could put my trust in him, and that he would work tirelessly on my behalf. Chancellors were really enthusiastic and came up with a plan and marketing strategy to sell our house after we had previously placed the property unsuccessfully with another Woodstock agent, who seemed devoid of ideas and regularly failed to give us viewing feedback.
David Ingram was extremely professional and arranged a open house day, actively chasing prospective purchasers from their extensive branch network database. We were given weekly updates including web site hits from interested parties and they found our buyer within 4 weeks of taking on the business.
We are therefore extremely pleased with the outcome and would thoroughly recommend Chancellors Woodstock office to others. Ignore the rest, go for the best!

After their initial visit and inspection of our property for an appraisal, we instructed Chancellors without hesitation as we felt confident with their professionalism and local knowledge. Our main point of contact was the lettings manager, Annie Sparks who instilled confidence in our decision to instruct Chancellors. Throughout the time the property was on the market, Annie kept us apprised of every viewing with feedback from the applicants and when we finally accepted an offer on the property, she maintained contact even though our file was transferred to their admin department. This was very refreshing and reassuring. I would have no hesitation in recommending Chancellors and especially Annie to anyone looking for a commendable, professional and knowledgeable agent in the area.

At probably one of the most stressful times of your life, you need people on your side and fighting your corner. What I wanted from an Estate Agent when selling our house was honesty and good communication. I was promised this when I instructed Chancellors to sell our house, and they did not dissappoint. My experience with Chancellors in Woodstock, in particular with Daniel Willis, has been nothing but a pleasure. (something I never thought I'd say of an estate agent, I must admit). Daniel has gone way over and above what would be expected, working and communicating with me at all kinds of abnormal hours to get the job done. The sale wasn't a straightforward one, with quite a long chain, and inevitable complications along the way, but he was with us every step of the way, fighting our corner and keeping informed of everything that was going on. I honestly couldn't have asked for more.
I would whole hearted recommend Chancellors of Woodstock, as a very modern, switched on, and helpful Estate Agent.

Please avoid this agent - they (as most Chancellor branches in Oxford) have the bad habit of leaving properties as for sale when they are actually under offer. It is hard house hunting without this annoyance.
It is a really poor sales technique that actually works against them in the long term.
