The agent demonstrated a great exemple on why estate agent can have a bad reputation.
They were trying to sale a flat which wasn’t saleable, which we found out 6 months in the process. They probably do their job when there is no problem solving to do.. because the client relation skills were very poor in our situation.
They did not tried to contact me as the comment stats below.
I will stay away from this agency. I now found my new home with a different estate agency who showed more professionalism and human skills.

I am renting a flat in London via Chase Buchanan. Last week I moved in and got injured when I tried to open/close the only windows in the flat. I ended up in hospital and had an operation on a broken thumb. I've been told that CB didn't know the windows were broken as the landlords are responsible for maintenance of this flat. The landlords are obviously very irresponsible. I wonder if an estate agent can rent out a place without due diligence?

I was approached by Danny Hicks, Manager of Twickenham Branch at Chase Buchanan who out of the blue knocked on my door without first making an appointment. He introduced himself saying he was aware my property was still on the market, and said that he had a better way to sell my property within 28 days without any commission cost to me by Chase Buchanan as they were working in conjunction with Patttinson Auction. He recommended using them, as I could set a minimum reserve price, he recommended setting a “very low” starting price to create a lot of buyers interest which was over £100,000 below it market value, stating that would not be sold for less than my reserve price. The major problems this caused is that It was shown on Zoopla and Rightmove that it was for sale at the undervalued price of £650,000 which had the total negative effect of down valuation and did not attract the right type of buyer. I found myself locked into a two month sole contract with northern based Pattinson Auction, who needless to say did not come up with a suitable buyer. I understand from other “reputable Estate Agents” , that they have clients that have experienced the same bad issues that I did and can’t wait to get out of the locked in contact with Pattinson Auctions through Chase Buchanan! My personal advice stay clear of Chase Buchanan Estate Agents and Pattinson Auctions.

After we had an appallingly bad experience last year with another - supposedly market leading - agency, we decided to put our house back on the market with Danny and Daniel, and couldn't have asked for a better team and a better result.
They are both incredibly professional and know their market extremely well. They did an outstanding job from start to finish, putting the house on the market quickly, selecting the best viewings, and securing a reliable buyer and a good price for our house, with help and advice throughout the process.
They are also both very pleasant to deal with, always positive and going the extra mile, and showing they really care about their job and about you as a client.

They faced some of the worst curve balls any one could ever face and yet their work rate, positivity and profesionalism never wavered. They worked well with both sets of solicitors and took on much more work than was required of them to ease the process.
One of the other most important aspects was the care and attention they gave my property when undertaking viewings. Having used two other estate agents in the area I was left with scratched wooden floors and trails of dirt. Chase Buchanan were exemplrary in that respect and I never had any worries about damage.

In this horrible Brexit buyers market, if you wish to sell your flat, Chase Buchanan is you best bet!
Out flat was on sale with 2 other popular high street agents for a long while (before we moved to Chase Buchanan) , during that time, our flat attracted many viewings but the other agents never managed to seal a deal. But Daniel (CB)found us 2 buyers within 3 months of marketing our flat. We had certain issues during our sale, our buyer was very difficult, but Danny helped iron everything out and handled the exchange process so smoothly and professionally. We would never have been able to move to our next home if not for their dedication and hard work. We can’t thank them enough. They were very transparent and understanding throughout the process, they never once gave us False hopes but neither did they let us loose faith. They were so quick to revert with viewing feedbacks unlike other agents we had employed earlier. Danny and Dan are so quick to respond to emails, and they make you feel that you as a customer mean a lot to them!

We have recently sold through Chase and both Dan and Danny were imperative to this happening. It was not the easiest of sales with the first buyer pulling out at the 11th hour the first time around (at no fault of the agent) but they gave us the right advice and re sold the property quickly afterwards. We had a strict deadline to get the sale through before Christmas to which Daniel worked incredibly hard to get done and succeeded in doing so!

Dawn and Danny at the Richmond office were really great from start to finish.
Whilst marketing our property, they understood our situation well and listened to us, to act accordingly to help us achieve the result we wanted.
Once they had secured our buyers, they kept us regularly informed with updates, and we always felt the transaction was secure.
They were also great at liaising with their St Margaret's office, to ensure that our onward purchase moved forward smoothly. The end result was a very swift, drama free transaction, taking less than 7 weeks from offer to exchange.
We would not hesitate to recommend Dawn and Danny to those looking to sell their property, or buy a property, in the area.

Dawn headed a team for our purchase close to the stamp duty rise. Through hers and the Chase team's tireless coordination and efforts we managed to get this completed on the day of the deadline despite obstructions from the surveyors and our own mortgage provider. From our first impromptu meeting where we walked in off the street unannounced, to the final decision, Dawn was professional, positive and realistic - pushing everyone to do what they could. She project managed and man managed throughout and without her involvement, I'm not convinced we would have completed on time - thus saving us 3% of on our total costs. We thank her so much for taking this on with such dedication at such a busy time. We were so impressed with Dawn, and Chase that we now Let our property with them and have had a tenant in since the first month after exchange.
