Claudia was absolutely fantastic throughout the entire process. Always friendly, approachable, and quick to respond to any questions. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was handled efficiently and kept me informed at every step. It really made a big difference having someone so reliable and supportive.

My friend and I were renting a flat in the Downend area through a company called Intire. We were happy with the service they provided. Then that was switched to Chase Buchanan and things went down hill. Within months, they notified us that 'the landlord' had decided to increase our rent by 30%. I was in a low paid job & my friend had recently lost her job so it would have been a struggle to afford that. After some discussions, it was agreed that it would be reduced to 'just' a 15% rise. Still a struggle but we managed. About 10 moths later, they informed us - BY EMAIL - that the landlord had decided to sell the flat & that we had to get out. There was no chance of us affording to live together elsewhere and, as we were getting zero help from Chase Buchanan, we had to separate. They also charged us £300 (+ VAT) to have the place deep cleaned after we left when the flat was far from clean when we moved in 6 years earlier.
Some staff were helpful at times but I found it very unprofessional to be told that we were being evicted by email.
The only good thing to come out of this is that we'll never have to make use of the services again.

We had a fantastic experience working with John and Kacey on our purchase. From the moment our offer was accepted, they consistently provided clear, friendly, and highly responsive service.
Kacey was fantastic at handling key administrative elements, such as swiftly clarifying the AML check process and coordinating the white goods negotiations. Meanwhile, John’s dedication was outstanding, regularly chasing the seller's solicitor and management company over several months to resolve major hurdles like the outstanding enquiries. They were always quick to arrange viewings and communicate important updates, ensuring we felt supported right up to completion in March 2026. This team definitely deserves five stars!

I’ve had such a good experience with Chase Buchanan and in particular Joel and Lianne. Joel was really welcoming on viewing a property, and no question went unanswered. Lianne was also really accommodating in securing the property once interested. The communication has been second to none, always keeping me updated on progress. Would highly recommend!

They sold my house at asking in one weekend! We’re respectful of arranging viewings only on weekends to avoid stress etc.

They only manage to get one viewing and said that there are a lot of flats for sale. When valuing the flat they gave very different speech. I would not recommend them.

I want to thank Robyn for helping me to find a new home . Very friendly and helpful and she will go out of her to call and check up on me to find out how I am doing in my new place. I was amazed when she called to check up on me after I moved into my new flat. I will say excellent service and that she should keep it up! ??????????????

Bad experience here. I have been waiting for the return of deposit since 08/09/2024 (check-out date), at time of writing the date is 04/12/2024. Despite asking for updates and calling, I have not received any response from this agency for 2+ weeks.
IMO, there are many other options in Bristol worth trying before Chase Buchanan Downend.
