Selling a home when someone you love has passed away is a difficult experience. Matthew and Karen at the Llantwit Major office were on our side, and next to us, throughout, making it that little bit easier. After one sale fell through, they were on it to get the house back on the market. When two buyers then both wanted it they were wise counsel. We sold for just a little less than the asking price. Andrew was out the next day after my initial email, and although at the time myself and my wife were still undecided about selling or not, Andrew was understanding and supportive of our decision despite taking an hour out of his time to come and value the house etc!
We decided to sell and witching 12 hours the house was in right move and effectively sold within 24 hours through some excellent marketing!
Throughout the move, Angharad was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble, any emails I sent were almost immediately replied to and she kept us updated throughout! Angharad when above and beyond what I would expect an estate agent to do, both my wife and I were genuinely impressed!
Over all 10/10 service would 100% use CD again and I would recommend them to anyone!! ????????

This week alone I have three viewings various situations of the viewers, i have no problem with that. Also I’m conducting the viewings myself due to the nature of my property and all Covid protocols will be adhered to.
Today I called Andrew Fenton and requested a viewing of a bungalow at cefn Mably Rhoose. Awhile back I already informed him I was interested in the property. I was told no way would I be allowed to view the bungalow until I sell my property!
I asked him how come I can facilitate viewings on my property through my estate agent and yet you won’t or can’t?
To cut a long story short we went around the houses and I got nowhere with him and ended the conversation politely.
I have other options now which I’m looking at, but don’t think they are doing a good job for there customers could have at least put the situation to them and let them decide like my estate agent.
And I’m thankful they are not selling my property. And yes I do take the virus seriously and follow the rules living on a mountain does make that easier!

Just to be clear. The lane behind Torbay Terrace is NOT A PUBLIC RIGHT OF Way. It belongs to Torbay Terrace and residents on Castle Street have no access rights. Your continued lies regarding this issue are not acceptable.
Response to your response below. When legal action takes place to resolve this matter, perhaps the houses you have sold in Castle Road will have recourse to sue yourselves or perhaps their own solicitors if misleading and inaccurate advice had been provided.

Selling a late relative's bungalow is not always easy and Andrew Fenton was helpful, kind, and let us take things at our pace. I've heard they are good for property sales..... but as a letting agent they are appalling. This is based on my own experience and that of others I have spoken to.... overpriced, greedy, they will do the bare minimum and leave you without essential needs just to grab a few quid .... I would go elsewhere . Rent directly from the property owner as it's cheaper both ways. These people aren't worth your time or money.
