I would really like to thank the whole team at Leighton Buzzard for everything they have done. They are a happy team of people and are very approachable and easy to work with. I would recommend their services.
It is fair to say this was not the easiest of sales for the team to manage and negotiate but I am thankful for everything they have done to help get us over the line.
The team at the Leighton Buzzard branch are a group of lovely people. During the sale of this property I have spoken to every member and each of them have played a part in what has been a successful sale. Each team member have helped when replying to emails and answers the many questions.
I should highlight the efforts of Phill and Robbie who were the main two running my sale and thank them for all their hard work.
I am a returning customer having had previous used Connells to buy and sell in other parts of the UK and I find their rates very reasonable.

I have to leave a review for these guys, although totally unrelated to any of the services connells provide! I was in such a stressful situation and on a very tight time limit, I needed some documents photocopied to be post office verified, I tried absolutely everywhere in town nobody was able to help me, I took a risk and went into Connells, it was done within 2 minutes!! No questions asked just done right there and then. I was so so relieved and they have no idea how important it was for me to get that done! The people in there are so so helpful, I can only imagine how helpful they are when it comes to actually using them for renting/buying! THANK YOU!

Terrible service, was lied to. Got told that the buyers of my house had everything in place and were cash buyers. Only to be told that there mortgage wasnt approved. They will say anything to get a sale.
Also no communication from them, waiting ages for a reply from emails and never felt the need to let us know when the first buyer of our house pulled out. Would never recommend and can not wait till we can move estate agent's

Buyers & sellers avoid! Myself and my husband had the worst experience when trying to buy a property through this branch - to say the communication was poor is an understatement and both my husband and I experienced how extremely unprofessional the branch ‘manager’ Phil was. From the get go, they were offering false information on their listing, saying the particular house of interest has planning permission for a single storey extension, when it doesn’t (it was out of date by 6 months and would have to be reapplied for!). I asked multiple times for this information and was never given this until I managed to discover this through my own investigating. I made multiple agents, including the branch manager aware of this and they finally admitted were fully aware of this and and they still failed to updated on the listing. We had constant trouble trying to get in touch with the branch and were told we would have an update or them call us back and then they would fail to do so. I even had to result to getting back in touch with them through Zoopla! When I was raising my concerns to the branch manager, Phil and he was unable to apologise or take any responsibility, especially for the lack of communication he then hung up on me! Avoid, this branch like the plague.

Having moved house on 19/12/2022 I appreciate that it is very late in the day to be sending a testimonial to Phill and his team but better late than never!!
At the time I hadn't sold a house for 38 years so found the prospect of this extremely daunting; however, I needn't have worried at all as Phill and his team guided me through the process from start to finish. Phill is an exceptional manager in my opinion as he is prepared to go above and beyond for his clients. He was always professional, efficient and very reassuring especially as I was dealing with a very difficult personal situation. I met Gemma, one of the Sales Negotiators, she showed me around the property. She was very knowledgeable about the property which is good to see, as this isn’t always the case on viewings.

Having recently been searching for a new home we came across some Estate Agents that were useless and others like Connells that were outstanding. Their communication was excellent, always finding properties that fitted our needs and listening to our sometimes too specific requirements. We made an appointment to visit a semi detached property and we were Met by Sophie. She was so knowledgeable and professional - the house was exactly as described. It was a Saturday and she promised a colleague would be in touch on Monday, which they were. We came extremely close to buying the property but an opportunity came along to buy a detached property near our sons college and husband’s place of work. After much debate and understanding we’d have to stretch our finances we chose the detached property. I strongly don't advise you to go with Connels Estate Agent, they are totally against tenants. Disgusting management property, I reported in July last year heating problems and was fixed after 8 months this year in April, I had problems with electric shower and delayed fixing until I fed up and I bought it from my own money.
I ended contract because the landlord harassed me and together with landlord and Connels have stolen my deposit. T
In my opinion is a hidden racist action against Europeans.

We chose to go with Connells Estate Agents as they gave us a few options as to how to approach the sale. We chose the photos that went on-line (although we would have preferred a few more) and checked over the floor plan. At the start things were very quiet (due to Brexit & the Election) Once Christmas was over, there were plenty of viewings. We were given feedback by Connells after each viewing and accepted an offer prior to lockdown. Although this took longer than I thought, due to time to sort out contract and legal matters, as I was buying a new build this unfortunately lay with the owners who had land queries to clarify taking completing and exchange longer than was anticipated. It was understandably stressful but was out of Connells hands on the legality of such documents. I still feel Connells done their best and I was in constant contact with Graham with updates. I had a minor problem when I moved in getting my tv going Phil the manager of the branch kindly called to see how they could help. It was not a straight forward journey being that the house was a prob rate property and owned by my late mums solicitors . Keeping the solicitors and brother who did not live locally informed at every stage of the process.
I would highly recommend connells Phil Marcus and everyone in the team thank you does not seem enough to for the excellent and professional job done in the sale of my late mums house you were there on good days and bad days to give advice .

I would like thank you Anne Bryans she did brilliant job by fixing problems which occur in my case. She was extremely professional, always replied on my email and phone calls. Corrected other people mistakes and reacted very quickly when came to sort out the issue. Process of buying my house was very difficult, my paperwork gone missing somwhere between the bank and solicitors who were involved, but Anne has resolved the problem on time. Vacated and returned keys to my rented property on 28th August 2018. Me and my wife left to stay with relatives until our deposit is returned, which connells informed us would take a week at most. We are now into the third week and the staff at the Leighton buzzard Connells branch are very uninterested in speeding their very very slow responses to our urgent request for our deposit. We have never experienced such bad customer service EVER with any other estate agents in Watford. This makes it even more stressful with my wife who is heavily pregnant and we are still unable to secure our own rented property due to the high upfront deposit request (would have been possible with our Connells held deposit).
Tenants please avoid Connells if you can.Explore other options as you will be left to deal with alot of stress. No one on the phone is actually trained to help you, they all seem to want to refer your questions to their colleagues who are out of the office always!

I went on the market originally with one of the local hybrid agents, they were terrible and only had two viewings in 3 months. Connells is notoriously a bad company to deal with, over my years of property buying I have stayed well away from Connells as they are just unprofessional and adopt a hard sale technique which is not helpful. Recently I had the misfortune of dealing with the Connells in Leighton buzzard and I must say this was the icing on the cake. Talk about holding up a house sale. Firstly the agent was VERY late to the appointment, when she arrived she whipped us around the house. She did not have any information on the property and kept saying she will have to ask back in the office. Because I liked the property NOT because of connells I decided to buy. This was even more unprofessional, It took 3 days for my offer to be given to the vendor, I kept getting told that only 1 person at connells can put forward offers and she is never in the office. After the offer was accepted it was still kept on sale. This is so that people call up and ask for it and are then told "sorry the property is sold but if I can take some details ill find you a property" It took 3 weeks for the house to be taken off the market after my offer being accepted. I had 5 calls unreturned. I have now pulled out of the sale because of Connells. Stay away they are the worst estate agents around. Especially the leighton buzzard one. I personally know an ex employee who confirmed how bad it is.

When we sold our house we spoke to 3 agents and found it difficult to choose which one to go with. We didn't choose Connells largely down to price, but for months afterwards we were continually pestered by them even when we insisted that there was nothing they could do for us and asked them to leave us alone. I wish we have never made contact with them at all,
