I am really glad I chose Cooper and Tanner. They are incredibly supportive and always there when I needed them. Their patience with my wobbles and my questions was amazing! The sale price was well below the valuation which was disappointing. This may have been partly due to the market difficulties at this time but I feel that possibly they did not pick up just how big a problem not having an upstairs bathroom would be. However other estate agents who valued the property did not seem to pick this up either. In all other areas I absolutely cannot fault them.

I have just bought a house through the Frome branch of Cooper and Tanner, and can give them all nothing but the highest praise. I felt valued as a buyer, and that they were direct, honest, trustworthy and transparent from the very start, helping to make a stressful process less so. As the chain grew and unexpected issues higher up the chain threatened to derail the exchange and completion dates, Jane and Kath were incredibly proactive, and at times were the only party keeping me informed of issues and progress, when I had very little communication from my own solicitor and estate agents. I think ultimately it was down to their tenacity and determination that we completed when we originally hoped to. Thank you all so much - you're everything an estate agents should be, and much more!

Absolutely delighted with service offered. Ross and Mia in particular were excellent - Ross was calling me more than I was him keeping my fully updated and assistance beyond what I would expect/felt was typical was offered when there were problems with the property not relating to the sale. In the last 2 years or so we have bought twice and sold once with Cooper and Tanner in Frome. Adam Scott and his entire team have been really great throughout. All three transaction had complications that needed to be sorted out, especially the last one that took 6 months to complete with many twists and turns.
Adam has been so patient and energetic and on the ball, on top of the situation throughout. He builds a great rapport with both buyer and seller, which keeps the transaction going even when difficulties arise with funding and timing. The whole team were very friendly, communicative and helpful. Even when very busy with other clients, they made sure that they responded to whatever we needed very promptly.
In my experience they've also been spot on with helping to set the price of properties and we've bought and sold quite close to the asking price.
Overall, a top class team and a pleasure to deal with.

This is an agency that genuinely care. As a training surveyor they also value accurately where other firms are ripping people off in this market. My wife and I have had a very tricky year that doesn’t bear going into. We were getting to the end of our tether finding a home and getting the run around from other agents when we met Adam and Joel. They took us under their wing to help us find a fantastic home before it went to market at a great price. Not only that but they are helping us with a local team of builders, a great solicitor referral and even tipped me off on a great nursery. They went above and beyond! Lettings Review - I dealt with Laura and Kirsty when looking for a new place to rent. Laura was helpful and encouraging when viewing properties and I soon found a place that I was extremely keen on.
I was in the process of selling my property (also with Cooper & Tanner - see separate review) and unfortunately the exchange of contracts dragged on.
Thanks to Kirsty and Laura's negotiations though, the landlady was happy to wait and I went through a seamless referencing process and the move in last week also went as smoothly as possible.

Our experience of Cooper and Tanner selling our home recently was really great. Most notably their proactive approach to keeping the sale progressing. They were routinely keeping in touch with all solicitors in the chain and our buyer, and establishing a completion date to be worked to. Fraser was really great when there was a delay in exchanging contracts, finding out the reason behind the delay and explaining to us in some detail - really reducing our stress levels. Cooper and Tanner were selling the property to us and I think that if they weren't in the business of estate agency they would do very well as negotiators for the UN! The whole move was difficult and stressful - the troubles had absolutely nothing to do with them, however they were brilliant in dealing with the situations as they arose. They were patient, professional, helpful, communicative and so understanding when on the end of another tearful phone call from a despairing me.

After booking an appointment to view a house, even though the appointment was made for a week in advance, we were re assured that we stood the same chance as everyone else to apply for the property. And that the landlord would wait for everyone to view it before making a decsion. They would only offer us that one appointment. We then recieved an email before our viewing even took place saying the house is gone and the landlord has made a decision. This was not professional, and messed us and our plans about. The staff spoke with an rude tone when arranging a viewing in the first place. We are happy to say we will take our business elsewhere.
