David Burr have been a pleasure to deal with throughout the process of buying our first home. Richard was fantastic when we went to view the property, and knew a great deal about its history and took a lot of time to take us around which we appreciated greatly. We chose David Burr because of their extensive knowledge of the area. This is really useful to purchasers who are not local. They were also very realistic regarding pricing and sale potential of our property rather than inflating it in order to get the property on their books, a ploy used by many others. This is the second occasion i have used David Burr Estate Agents in Castle Hedingham over the last 25 years and this is my assessment:
Dilligent, efficient and dedicated staff who pride themselves on a personal service; they always answer calls quickly and always return calls as soon as practicable; They have incredible knowledge and experience of properties of all types in the surrounding area and they take ownership of a sale from start to finish and will readily offer solutions to problems - you need to look no further. The staff of three, Tim, Oliver Leah and Sophie excell at all the above and I witnessed their calm heads during stressful moments!!
For me personally, they were absolutely brilliant at getting the sale of my property home after many hiccups and hurdles.
I doubt this agent will be very hard to match and as such, I strongly recommend them.

Moving house is always very stressful but Tim was always there to calm the situation and sort the various queries and problems which arise right up until exchange and completion. Nothing was ever too much trouble and phone calls were ALWAYS returned if they were unavailable at the time of your call, a rarity nowadays. Cant give ZERO out of five!!!
Called this agent to enquire about a rental property, so disgusted to receive such a patronising and negative response, Who did he think he was, I was happy to pay up to two years rent in advance!!!!!!!! Shame on you! Wouldn't even let me view!!!!!????? So negative!
If you are renting your property, pick another professional agent who will not immediately judge potential tenants based on an initial conversation. Just felt this so called agent is sooooo old school, very judgemental and quick to make very incorrect assumptions. So angry!
If he would have been a little more positive, and asked just maybe a couple more questions he would have realised we were good for the rental for life not just the next few months!!!!!!!!

What an incredible estate agent!! Managing Director, Tim Rutter is first class!! He was our sellers estate agent and not even our own and was fabulous throughout. He kept us up to date (sometimes even before our solicitor) on what was going on and was constantly going above and beyond for us. I hope we never need or want to sell but if we do, we know where to go!! Thanks to everyone at David Burr Castle Hedingham for 5 star customer service!!!
