We have been tenants at the same Davis Tate property for 17 years. It has been, I would imagine, a difficult property to manage.
It's grade two listed, old, and has been maintained to a very basic level for such an old building by the landlord. The landlord are a group of charity trustees. So the liaison needed for decision making on maintenance has, I am sure, been a massive headache!
We've been here so long we've had more than one property manager. All have been great. Our current property manager, Melvyn Hayden, has been fantastic. We do have endless issues with such an old building, but Melvyn has always helped with everything we needed to address, in a very helpful, efficient way, chasing for follow ups and confirmations to make sure things happen when they need to.
We always prefer to be home when anyone visits, for maintenance or inspections, for anything, and this can make scheduling more complex. Davis Tate have always been very understanding and have respected this. They work to find a time for visits when we can be present.
We are sad to leave. For 17 years we have raised our family here, and we just need more space.

We approached Davis Tate Twyford, as we are looking to relocate to the area from London. We initially met Meghan, who is delightful. She clearly has extensive knowledge of the area, and properties she is marketing. She is both professional in her approach, and friendly. listening, and taking on board preferences, whilst offering advice and ideas. The viewings were not rushed, we felt very secure in the knowledge Meghan was listening and taking on board requests for future viewings. Meghan always responds to communications promptly, and instructively.
We also had the pleasure of being shown around a potential property by another agent, James Dormer. From our initial meeting, James was friendly, and helpful. He was very informative with regard to the property he was marketing, highlighting key features, whilst taking note of any questions from us that he wanted to confirm. Although the property wasn't right for us, James didn't rush to end the viewing. He still showed interest in our search for the right property. Both Meghan and James have made the beginning of our property search a happy and smooth one. I would not hesitate to recommend Davis Tate Twyford.

I'm a buyer, so this review is quite literally unpaid for. The Mrs and I have recently purchased a property that was put on the market via Davis Tate, Twyford.
The service has been impeccable, we've been updated every step of the way, most notably by Jenny and Geraldine. We were a little apprehensive about making the current stamp duty deadline, but the ladies at Davis Tate, have certainly put in the work to coordinate both sets of solicitors, to make sure we completed before the deadline. I would definitely not hesitate to recommend them.
I suppose we're very lucky the seller decided to market with Davis Tate, Twyford.

So upset with this Estate agent! Told me that a property that was ideal for me would be coming in the market. I knew the house and as a cash buyer thought that I was in a good position. Next thing I know (a couple of days later) a SOLD sign has gone up - no call, no email - nothing.
How stupid was I to think that there is honesty among estate agents. Poor client who probably hasn’t got the best price or easy sale.

I had a really positive experience with Davis Tate Twyford. As a buyer it can naturally feel there is a bias towards the vendors however, this was not the case with Davis Tate. The entire team were incredibly friendly and professional and there was not a single element of the service I could find fault with. My overall move progressed much quicker than I envisaged, mostly due to the thorough work of the team.
