My first early morning swim, sauna and steam at Woolston Hub this morning. Facilities very clean and tidy. All staff very friendly and helpful. Very impressive, well done !

Good gym, swimming pool sometimes a little cold when taking my toddler for family swim.
Wish it was open later on weekends but I guess there isn't enough demand.

Great little gym, lots of equipment, squash courts, sauna, steam room, pool. Only things that make it not 5 stars is that there's no private showers for after a swim and the sauna and steam room are miles from the wet changing room. Other than that, really happy with my membership here.

Went to the gym at woolston neighbourhood hub. Had a realy good workout for an hr. Clean and safe environment. Nice staff.

Rude ignorant staff..Won't let my 15yo daughter use the toilet while playing a football match on the field at the rear..
Even though they were letting certain adults to use them..Double Standards!

Ducklings session for youngest swimming learners. Water nice and warm, a lot swimming aids and toys available. Air con blowing freezing air in places, and absolutely freezing in showers by the pool. Family changing area with only two rooms available and no toilet there...

Came here on a Thursday morning for the Duckling session (couldn't make it to the Orford Hub during the week). Aqua aerobics was on which was extremely loud so it was strange to have a baby group on at the same time. Not so keen that the door from the main area to the family change area was kept open. Place seemed very dated, ceiling tiles missing in the family change area (only 2 cubicles). However, the baby seat as well as the changing unit was very handy. The person looking after the Ducklings class was very friendly and very helpful.

Took 4 children swimming on Sunday, 2 non swimmers, 1 swimmer and one whos learning. Had to get a band for the small pool as it was busy. I took 2 of the children in and the life stopped the other 2 coming in saying it was full. I explained they were with me amd I was supervising them all by myself so would not let them in seperate pools, but he refused to let them in. Spoke to the manager at the poolside, he backed him up. I said how is it safe to split up a family so children arent supervised??? Eventually said I wanted a refund and we were leaving. Got them all changed and met the manager at reception. He looked at me, I said I'm here for my refund. His response...."Have you got your receipt?"
I laughed in disbelief.....
How can any child/ family friendly place split up a paremt from their children????
Avoid at all costs....its dirty, smells like dirty urinals and their policies are dangerous.

Pathetic Direct Debit detail. Only way they let me pay for Gym & Swimming lessons. £2M upgrade, but still looks ropey. Better venues elsewhere.

The changing rooms had black mould in them, which I guess is understandable due to people coming straight out of the pool into there. However, the pool is very good, and yes whilst I understand that safety is a huge priority, the lifeguards are very strict to their rules. My younger 13 year old sister and I went to the pool and I took longer getting changed than her, so since she’s a strong swimmer, I let her go into the pool on her own. I told her to stay in the shallow end until I got there and to be careful and she did, get as soon as the lifeguards noticed she was in the pool without adult supervision they caused a lot of commotion. However, I do understand where they were coming from.

We travel from Manchester because our daughter loves it here. Staff are great, very friendly and you're always made to feel welcome. Place is clean and tidy and there's the chance to have a brew while you know your kids are safe to play.

Excellent friendly staff, excellent gym with all the equipment you will need, and the pools are great to swim in as it's good to know a lifeguard is always on hand. Great value and Great Staff!

why is it to get an appointment you have to phone over 30 times before you actually get a chance for the phone to ring and then there are no appointments available. in the space of 5 mins of non stop calling the appointments have been filled up. i dont know how because from the second 8 oclock hits ive been calling and this is what you get. you might aswell just forget it. useless.

Pool is rubbish, changing facilities are rubbish. Sauna is not connected to the pool. Squash courts need repair. Gym is very good though with a decent collection of machines

Carparks a bit rough. Could do with a new layer. A few pot holes. But inside. It's a really good community hub. Gym. Library. Parcel collection. Swimming. And so on. Lots to do.
