We started looking in the Raynes Park area and it took us a year to find our home. We dealt with both Rowan and Rob during our search and both of them knew the area inside out, offering genuine advice on what would be best for us, rather than pushing an agenda.
Once we found our home and agreed a price, Rowan was very helpful throughout the process into exchange, including arranging multiple visits the property whilst we scoped out refurbishment.

My husband and I were early in our search for a house when we came across Darshil. From the outset, we were uncertain on which area we wanted to move to, looking in Raynes Park, Motspur Park, and New Malden. After some months we were able to finally narrow our search thanks to Darshil. He listened to all our feedback focussing on what was important to us. Things like price (obviously), proximity to transport, proximity to our children’s schools, size etc. He was beyond patient with us and always made time in his extremely busy diary to accommodate us for viewings. This is something that we struggled with terribly with neighbouring agents. It was never a problem for Darshil and his team. He then found us the home we wanted in the area we liked and we couldn’t be happier. Throughout the whole buying process we were kept in the loop. Be Very Aware if you intend using this agent.
Having placed a personal reaction, with Ellisons, to the poor level of service we were given, the response was the " normal", contrary interpretation of the facts to what we had perceived.
Your version of " Good Service" may not exist. "Poor Service" would seem to be accepted as "the Norm". "What do you expect" type of response, to any negative incident. The incidents that justify a positive reaction from Ellisons, are brushed aside or simply ignored, even when they have the evidence to support your negative comment.
If using this agent be very vigilant: "Accept nothing, Believe no-one/ nothing and CHECK everything yourself"!!
Use a very competent Solicitor!

Booked in to see a property - during the working day, the appointment was changed twice, we then finalised on a time, to receive an email at 20:15, to tell us that the original time was inconvenient.
I then received this email from the Branch Manager:
"If you genuinely could only do that time and you were serious..."
If I wasn't serious, I wouldn't have got in touch / told you I am a cash buyer, and chain free!
Save yourself the time, and use an agent that's trustworthy / wants your business.

They were extremely professional and courteous, and Rob gave me some very good advice on minor bits of work that really boosted the value of the flat. Very satisfied with their handling of the sale of my flat. First Rowan then subsequently Rob found several serious potential buyers with a sale agreed within two months of the flat going on the market. I had to come down a little from the initial asking price but that is normal. Also I was not living in the area at the time so left the keys with Ellisons for them to manage everything thus saving me the hassle of having to make frequent trips to London. Rob also found me a very good local man to help with the flat clearance.

Would like not to put any star- but have to for review purposes. First time buyers purchasing in Raynes Park area. Rowan Tickner (assistant manager) was our agent and his handling of our purchase was shocking. They failed to mention the property had a history of knotweed causing us to pursue the purchase until this was brought to light by our solicitors. Knotweed is identified as 'material fact' in the guidance to consumer protection regulations- meaning that its presence must be disclosed by the agent. What then happened was extraordinary Rowan turned into a specialist in the matter and a torrent of malicious/abusive emails ensued, refusing to answer our questions as his client. Duty of care= un-professional. Customer Service from Rowan= appalling.
