Dear Elms Price & Co, I would just like to share my very much appreciation to Andrew McLoughlin (the Colchester office) for all the invaluable help that he has given to make the purchase of our property possible.
We gave the details of what we were looking for and in no time at all, he provided us with a handful of properties, and immediately arranged for us to view them all on one morning, even took us to each one, and in fact, all to our liking (it was very difficult to choose from them all). We completed our house sale with Elms Price at the end of November and I have to say that it has been the most pleasant conveyance we have ever done (and we have done quite a few). This was largely due to the calm, measured and balanced style Jamie Lynch adopts with his clients. He asked for our business even though we had spoken to several agents, he delivered a sale at full asking price on the day of launch and qualified it within 48hrs and throughout the following couple of month kept us fully informed of progress or issues without being alarmist or overly optimistic. We had a few hoops to jump through and Jamie carefully steadied the ship as various issues were resolved.
Now the "Official Estate Agent by Mitchell Appointment" - by far the best agent we have used in over 20yrs, excellent communication and a thoroughly nice fella to deal with. Well done Jamie
UPDATE:
Jamie sold a 2nd property for us recently and again managed it with 24hrs of going live. Buying and selling houses is a stressful, complicated and frustrating endeavour at the best of times, so you need a proactive, level headed agent to ride the waves and that is exactly what you get with Jamie. He communicates well and is decisive in his advice. More than that, he's a a thoroughly nice fella and I can't recommend him enough.

Whilst the sale of our house was less than easy, Jamie Lynch was amazing and went above and beyond to help us! Nothing was ever too much to ask and he was always at the end of the phone if we needed him. Jamie was incredibly supportive throughout and without him I think we would have just given up completely! I would definitely recommend.

We recently moved house & due to unforeseen circumstances had use another estate agent for our sale, but through the house we were purchasing dealt with their estate agent, Jamie Lynch at Elms Price, Wivenhoe.
He was an absolute pleasure to deal with & quite honestly the only reason we came out the other side of moving, still reasonably sane!
Our estate agent was unhelpful, uninformative & not keeping us updated unless badgered!
Jamie was on the ball the whole time, calling or texting us updates on a regular basis to keep us informed not only where the estate agents were at with the sale but chasing solicitors too.
His communication skills were excellent throughout. We definitely came to rely on him, probably a lot more than we should have but, we knew he would get us answers.
We are 110% sure we would not have gotten though it without him!
Jamie - thank you so much for everything you did for us, we are forever grateful. You are an absolute star!

Full disclosure I work for another estate agency and have been recently been involved in a chain with Jamie at Elm Price.
It's not often you come across an agent that has been so proactive and energetic in making sure that his own clients were looked after as well as his buyers. He was easy to talk to and always working on a solution so we can keep focused on what we are employed to do - get families moving into their homes.
