Really poor service by Eric Lloyds Churston Branch. I saw a listing and called the office to book a viewing. Straight away was told there were so many people interested and I would have to wait a week in a rather snooty way. Made an offer on the property to be told had to wait another week or two which is fine however not once did they touch base in the mean time (despite a very good cash offer). They only got in touch once they were ready to ask us if that was our final offer. We basically asked for them to ask the vendor what price they wanted as we were keen to buy it and more or less pay what was required but again received an email saying just offer your best? We felt really uncomfortable dealing with such an unprofessional company that we decided not to pursue this further. At no point did I feel my interests as a potential buyer were of any importance to them. Can’t help but feel a deal was already done behind the scenes and I was wasting my time. 3 days after closing date I’ve still heard nothing back from them I had to read it online that it’s under offer. I have bought many properties but their service is by far the worst I have experienced.... Read more
