Moving from overseas, there are numerous challenges one encounters to rent a place to live. Fulford's went that extra distance to assist overcoming some unexpected hurdles. Massive thankyou to Beth and Aiden from the Paignton branch, nothing was too much trouble, we were kept up to date with everything to do with moving into our property and any changes. I cannot recommend their service strongly enough. A thoroughly professional and personal service, which went far beyond my expectations. With the help of all the staff at Fulfords Paignton, I was able to sell my flat in Paignton despite being permanently resident in Taiwan. They took care of every single detail of the sale for me right down to dealing with the utility providers, flat clearance contractors, painting and decorators. Everything !! I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone in the Torbay area. Very impressive !!

Absolutely useless and extremely unprofessional.. Did not have a clue how to deal with my enquiry after living in one of their properties for 5 years. I found myself doing their job ! No replys to my emails or voicemails and they never answer the phone.

Yesterday I went into Fulfords Lettings in Paignton feeling a little weary from all the house/flat searching I had been doing. However it turned out to be such a positive experience with Clare who I found a delight to talk to. It didn't matter that my budget was limited she couldn't have treated me better, putting all her concentration in fitting my requirements to the choice of properties and behaving so professionally, but so warmly! She sent me all the information I needed to look at when I got home and continued to work in my best interests. Thank you Clare and the Fulfords team who must be supporting her well for such a young woman to provide such great customer service.

I wouldn’t recommend this branch of Fulfords to any prospective landlord or tenant. You would think they would be doing their upmost to fill vacant properties but whenever we have called up to arrange a viewing they have either taken our details and not got back to us with a date or time to see the property or emailed us through the details of something we are not interested in. We have called twice, left an answer phone message and emailed Fulfords to try and arrange a viewing but we are still waiting for a response three weeks after making our first enquiry. If they are this difficult to get hold of to try and view a property imagine the trouble you would have if something went wrong with a property you were renting from from them, your 6 month contract would probably be over before it got fixed! Not only that, I feel for the landlords who are paying this branch to fill their properties. We are both full time professionals with no children or pets so you would think it would be a fairly easy process, which we have found it has been with other agents in the area. This one is by far the most unprofessional and unhelpful agent we have come across, which funnily enough charge the highest fees. Shall definitely avoid in future.

We have dealt with Fulfords at Paignton for over a year now and have been absolutely delighted with them. Their professionalism, integrity in dealing with us and their experience shine through. Their attention to detail and way of treating us always as individuals, we have found second to none. We would not hesitate to use them again. We have never felt like 'just a number' and all staff have taken trouble to tailor everything to us and to fine tune our experience with them. Aiden Shears, Zoe Driver and all branch staff are friendly and courteous and supremely reliable. If only every letting agent was as good! As a couple, we are both very happy to recommend them most highly.

My advice to anyone thinking about renting a property through these people is to THINK AGAIN!
They are both incompetent and unprofessional and have absolutely no morals when it comes to taking money from their tenants. The whole process from start of tenancy to returning a deposit at the end of a tenancy is not going to be fair.
These people are capable of dishonesty on every level.
