One of the easiest 5 star reviews we have written. Fiona, our mortgage advisor at Connells, made the whole process so much easier to understand and navigate. Applying for a mortgage again after 20 years, the process had changed so much. Fiona held our hands, filled me with confidence and kept me sane throughout. Had a great experience with Connell's Mortgage Advisor, Fiona Stevenson.
She was very helpful from start to finish. Guided us through the mortgage application process, as well as building and contents etc. Made the process very enjoyable and also ensured we got the best possible deal/outcome.
Worth noting she is very proactive as well, always checking in to make sure things are moving as they should, and if they aren't, helps to get that done.
Would highly recommend.

Sitting here, enjoying the peace of our new lounge, looking out on to our lovely new garden, we can’t praise highly enough the team at Connells, Paignton. They were a pleasure to work with - friendly and professional. We’d originally marketed our property with a different agent but without success. Within a few weeks of switching to Connells we had on offer and things got underway. We were particularly impressed by the great communication from the team. Every step of the process they were with us to advise - and sometimes calm our nerves! Even in those times when nothing much seemed to happening we received weekly check-ins to make sure we’re ok with everything. We also opted to use Connells’ mortgage adviser and linked legal services and we feel this made things go more smoothly as the teams communicate easily. Would highly recommend Connells.

Our experience of dealing with Connells was dreadful. Our Landlords decided to sell and initially we were told we would not be pressured to move. Within days we were contacted by 'Jamie' who showed zero empathy or tact and was pressuring us into agreeing to viewings & photos. We politely declined stating our privacy reasons and within days Connells had obviously complained to our Landlords and we were served a section 21. We continued in this time to receive text messages trying to arrange photos....even after we moved! A Connells employee came to do a valuation on the property and suggested that maybe we would be better off being made homeless!
All the staff need to be retrained in how to treat people properly rather than being driven by targets and greed. Connells have a letting department too, there's no way I would want to be a Tenant managed by them if this is an example of how they treat people.

We used Connells for the sale of a second property.
Due to various reasons, it did take quite a while.
Despite this, Connells made the experience the best it could be.
They were transparent about costs and kept us updated with any developments promptly.
Beyond this, the team helped with issues outside of their responsibility, such as organising meter readings on many occasions.
This was so helpful and made selling the property a lot easier.
I'd have no hesitation in recommending them.
Thank you to Jamie, Lynsey, and the rest of the Connells Paignton team.

I used this branch to purchase a flat, the sales team were absolutely brilliant, friendly, helpful and always available when I needed them, if you're looking to purchase a property I highly recommend, the only reason I didn't give this a 5 star is that the mortgage advisor was awful, avoid this part of you can there are much better options available and definitely not worth the £600 fee.

Many thanks to Jamie,Lindsay and all the Connells Paignton team for helping us sell our bungalow .We probably chose the worst time to sell with interest rates increasing but we got there in the end !! .Good communication from all the team and always pleasant ,helpful staff
