Matt Higgins is hands down the best estate agent I've ever worked with. He also has land valuation qualifications and skills which in our case really came in handy as we had a house to sell that wasn't like any other in our road. Matt was able to give us a great valuation (when frankly the other estate agents weren't sure). In the end, we had 5 offers with high quality buyers and a quick sale at a price that exceeded our expectations. Added to this are his great negotiation and communication skills. The rest of the team (I worked mainly with Dominique & Lara) were really good also and the marketing materials are a cut above the rest. Mainly I worked with Matt though and I won't be going anywhere else in future. Extremely highly recommended !

After dealing with a very sketchy estate agent in the Brighton/Hove area, Dominique from Fine & Country was an absolute star – professional, reliable, honest & trustworthy.
From start to finish, Dominique went beyond our expectations – her communications were second to none, from liaisons with the sellers to chasing solicitors. As we currently don’t live near Brighton, she even helped facilitate access for tradesmen to view and quote for work that we might need done. On top of that, Dominique also identified nearby garages for us!

My parents have had an awful experience. We just moved to a filthy house, dirt on light switches and cupboards, sink and shower with residue. No one was there to hand over the keys in the property so we had a whole day and evening without heating as we had no idea how to work it (not the same as usual heating systems) Electric fire broken and no idea how to use the hob (another unusual way to work it) We were finally able to work the heating and the radiators need bleeding. All of this and the staff say they didn’t know they haven’t been to the property in months! How can you rent out such an expensive property and not even have it ready for your tenants to move in?! And they say their interest is with their client the landlord, not us? We’ve been deeply unimpressed and hope they fix this soon as it could really ruin our christmas. Also their email said ‘sorry you’re upset’, what a way to write an email, they can’t even take the blame.

The selling of our house was a long-winded saga due to a very changeable financial landscape, from boom to bust, with uncommitted buyers over-bidding and then dropping out and then the market slowing to a standstill. There is no doubt about it, without Dominique Scott of Fine and Country our sale and subsequent purchase would have failed. Our transactions involved a small but difficult chain. It was nail biting involving reductions in offer prices and serious time ultimatums with threats of withdrawal.
Dominique Scott nursed the transactions through gaining the confidence of all the parties involved, being in touch with them all including their estate agents and if necessary the conveyancers, smoothing the way to completion. She worked tirelessly and succeeded.

We would definitely recommend this branch of Fine&Country in Uckfield. The service the team (Tom, Kate, Henrietta and Mandy) provided us was well above expectation. They sold our house at a time when nothing in the market was moving, which was in the middle of the winter and during Brexit They took time and care at all stages of the process.
Probably the the best recommendation though was all their excellent communication, keeping us informed at every stage and friendly ways.
The purchase of our new house was also through Fine & Country, again all the above applies plus they really worked hard to ensure we were able to match the deal both ways.

I highly recommend selling your property through Fine and Country, Hove. We had our property on and off the market with other estate agents for several years. Then by chance we met Dominique and her team and within six months they sold our house. The thing I noticed immediately was a high level of professionalism and honesty. And that carried on throughout the whole process. The whole team took the time to view our property in detail so they knew the house inside out when people enquired. And viewings were with ‘actual’ potential buyers, not just anyone who fancied a look around. We actually felt that our house was on the market to sell, not just a picture in the window. Maybe the lack of time is the reason for this exemption where my family and I want to praise Dominique from Fine and Country Estate agents in Hove.
