14th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)We listed the flat twice with Phillips and Still, once in the winter with perhaps too high a price. There was little interest and we took it off the market and re-let it for a short tenancy. We relisted the property with them in the summer at a lower price, and an offer was received almost straight away. The agent was quite proactive and liaised very well with the buyers and ourselves. Towards completion the buyer showed some remorse, because of falling prices generally and wanted a £10,000 reduction in the price. Again, the agent was quite proactive and we settled on a £5000 price reduction with an expedited completion. The agent recommended a local conveyancer, but after a lot of internet searches we chose another local firm, Cunningtons, but we were disappointed with them, and probably should have followed the agent's recommendation. Overall we were quite satisfied with Phillips and Still, although we were disappointed with the quality of the photos on the website, which were taken before the new carpets were installed and before the professional cleaning was done. However, because we got an offer so quickly, there was no need to redo them

Zoe Woodward was an excellent Sales Progressor who kept me consistently updated throughout the process and was always available to explain each stage clearly. Her communication was outstanding, and she was incredibly proactive in liaising with me, the seller, and the conveyancing solicitors to keep everything moving forward smoothly. Zoe’s professionalism, knowledge, and dedication made what could have been a stressful process much easier to navigate. I would highly recommend Zoe Woodward and Sawyer Estate Agents to anyone looking for a supportive and efficient team.

Brices were always quick to address any issues, always responded to emails and calls and acted fairly and professionally as an intermediate between myself and the landlord. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fair and genuine letting agents. Thank you Louise.

8th Jun 2026 (7 days ago)I recently purchased a property from Fine & Country/Sawyer & Co with Matthew Higgins as my estate agent. Matthew was very patient and helpful throughout. There were some external delays along the way (such as waiting for documents from the Council) and Matthew was relentless in helping to chase them down to ensure the solicitors got the information they needed for the sale to go through.

22nd May 2026 (24 days ago)The worst estate agent I've ever used! I booked a viewing at a property, but when I arrived at the address, the building wasn't there. I spent over 30 minutes looking for it and asking strangers walking by, but no one had ever heard of it! I called the agent, I emailed the agent, and despite all of this, NO ONE HAS BOTHERED TO REPLY TO ME! It's been over a week. Don't waste your time with these people!

I met with Joe, who came early, was chatty, welcoming, and didn’t make me feel uncomfortable once. I was so suprised with the flat, with past experience with other agents they don’t meet the criteria, or aren’t the same as the description. However this flat was even better! Every detail they had mentioned on the description was exactly how the flat was. It was clean, homely, and i had nothing bad to say about it. It’s so nice to find an estate agents that also accept my situation! Some agents can be strict and don’t offer much for me, however HW have been so welcoming & lovely to me! I’d recommend them to everyone.

They were professional, knowledgeable, supportive, responsive and reliable. Communication was excellent. Advice was on point. They were really proactive and moved things forward well, without ever creating any unnecessary stress for me. I would definitely use them again in the future and genuinely can’t recommend them highly enough.

The renting process was very quick and systematic, with transparency, they've gone out of their way to facilitate us here in Brighton.
