Whilst I have had great service from Daniel and Martin at Fyfe McCade, I'm singling out Alex for this review. I've had an 11 year relationship with Alex. My rental flat has barely had a void, he's highly knowledgeable of the local area and market, and a helpful joy to deal with. Fyfe are lucky to have him.

Highly recommend these guys. No one knows the local rental and sales market like them. Always available to sort me out with good tenants and give market advice. When I came to sell my flat I made the mistake of not choosing them and went with a national agent who didn’t know the market and spent 4 months getting me about 6 viewings. Subsequently instructed Fyfe McDade and they had a dozen viewings and an acceptable offer through in 4 or so weeks ! Job done. Best agent around for the Bloomsbury area !

I rented a flat via fyfe mcdade for several years. I dealt with Joey initially who was really lovely and helpful in finding our home.
Our initial choice had already been taken but rather than brushing us off, Joey took plenty of time to understand what we were after and took us around lots of flats. Even on a Sunday, which said a lot to me.
We ended up in a great little two bed in central Kings Cross and any problems have been dealt with pretty quickly too by their property managers. Recommended as our experience has been nothing but positive.

I rent an apartment here for a year with my girlfriend as a place to stay for my master degree study in UCL. We compared most of the agencies around and this one suited us the best. The experience is great in general. Big thanks to Daniel and Joey for all the reliable service and kind help. I highly recommend them because they are professional, trustworthy, and so very friendly. We get along so well that they ended up becoming my best friends in London. Other members of the office are nice as well, I always enjoy chatting with them. For whoever that is reading this review, if you are looking for a place to rent or trying to find someone to manage your property, this is definitely the right team that you should consider!

I have used the Bloomsbury office for many years in terms of rental and sale.
Alex and his team have been superb and I highly recommend them as a past landlord.
Alex even attended the flat over a weekend when there was a leak.
Any company will have issues that could have been dealt with better but I would use them above the others in the area because they will answer calls and messages and don't hide behind a switchboard that is only accessible at certain times.

I recently engaged with the very friendly and knowledgeable staff at Fyfe McDade. They took time to understand the nature of my enquiry, I didn’t feel uncomfortable, and I liked that the atmosphere was very relaxed and no one wore suits! Refreshing from an estate agency.
Alex took the time to go through several properties in their portfolio, understood my needs in wanting to be around N1C or WC1.
The team went above and beyond, also having a 15 minutes discussion about market conditions, forthcoming elections, what the Bank of England might be up to and even a bit of Bloomsbury history…

I recently purchased my first home with Fyfe McDade, and I can confidently say that they were an absolute pleasure to work with. The whole process was extremely smooth; from arranging a next-day viewing for the property as it was advertised to constant support and communication throughout the offer and soliciting process, the overall purchase development could not have gone better. Adrian Cheng, the agent for the property that I was after, was always on it; he wasted no time in replying to any of my questions, always kept me in the loop on how the process was going, and was always willing to help and work through any issues encountered. The original completion date was met and respected. Even after finding a few issues after completion, Adrian was extremely helpful in getting them sorted. There were never any communication issues and I was constantly informed of any relevant developments from the seller's and estate agent's side. And on top of that, he was an extremely cool guy! If I ever want to purchase or rent another property, it is safe to say that I will be using Fyfe McDade's services again.

Fyfe McDade have been my agents since September 2018. They are an excellent team. Special thanks is in order to Joey who has helped with the search of new tenants when needed. Has gone above and beyond on a number of occasions often working longer hours to get things actioned for my specific timeframes.
Joey has always been very honest regarding current market conditions. Organised thorough “screenings” for prospective tenants to my property and often given me a short list to choose from within the criteria I required.
The head of the office Alex has always responded immediately to any queries and has offered good and relevant advice in the ever-changing role and regulations that need to be covered by Landlords.
Whenever extra help has been required for example an inventory check-out (that I could not attend) or other services needed such as cleaners, electrician etc the Fyfe McDade team have always been quick to respond to my emails with excellent contacts/people to deal with the situation for my tenants quickly and efficiently.

I moved into my first flat a few months ago and Connor at Fyfe McDade helped make the process so smooth and straightforward. Coming from California to London, I had a number of anxieties about finding the right fit from just online viewings, but I am very happy with where I ended up. Connor was so helpful throughout and was available for any questions I had which was such a help, because I found some of the other groups weren't nearly as communicative.
I'd definitely recommend Fyfe McDade, especially to anyone coming internationally to the area.

Fyfe McDade were my managing agents and then acted for me during the sale of the flat, so I have worked with them for several years.
It’s a lovely friendly office. I have always felt that I was a person, not a number. They balance the interests of tenants and landlords very fairly and are excellent intermediaries. I was kept informed about issues with the flat, but good advice was provided when needed.
When it came to selling, Fyfe McDade really went the extra mile. The head of office Alex worked his socks off to find a buyer in a difficult market. He always kept me fully informed. He intervened positively when necessary. I found it a genuine pleasure to have him as my estate agent as he doesn’t have any of the clichéd characteristics that people associate with estate agents. He’s a straight talker, very honest and realistic. He works very hard, answering queries at all hours and has a very nice personality, good sense of humour and intelligence that make selling a property a (relatively) pain-free experience.

Overall Extremely Good. The experience was challenging since we were attempting to rent a unit from overseas sight unseen and were unfamiliar with how things are done in the UK. Connor Brill was extremely professional, pleasant and helpful throughout this process and actually provided direction and information outside of his realm of responsibility going above and beyond. Most notably, he negotiated a lower rental price which was amazing.
I do feel that the rental screening company employed by Fyfe McDade did not do an adequate job in researching the finances available to rent the unit. They actually did not request any financial documentation whatsoever which I found perplexing. Had they asked for financial information, I've no doubt we would have been able to secure the flat with a payment of six months in advance as anticipated rather than the entire year.
The bottom line is that Connor found a perfect flat and worked beautifully with us to make it happen. It was a pleasure working with him.

They are always late for the meeting. They forget to bring their keys so often. They try to butter you up with false information and they try to avoid calls when they are extremely late with their application. Do not buy properties from here!
