As an expat, relocating to London from the US, I had prepared myself for my flat hunt to be a daunting experience. With a short timeframe, and specific budget, I knew it might be a challenge, but that was not at all my experience! From the moment I reached out to Razieh Hadian at Greater London Properties (which was late one evening) her engagement and responsiveness was on point! She was able to confirm a viewing for me the very next morning and met me at the flat to walk through and get a better understanding of what I was looking for. Razieh was attentive, asked the right questions, and provided sound guidance that ultimately led me to making the best decision for me and putting in an offer. She stayed on top of the offer process and guided me through so wonderfully, especially given that this was my first letting experience in a new country. Once my offer was accepted, the office picked up the application process and everything went so smoothly. Honestly, it was the best experience and as I told them when stopped by the office “I had prepared myself for the letting process to really be challenging but they made it such a smooth and easy process”! Finding the right property in London is often stressful but with Greater London Property you'll be in good hands.
My experience with Razieh, for viewing and offer, with Lesley, for documentation requirements, has been seamless. Indeed, they make a great team and assisted me well.
Razieh has been easy-going as well as focused, so I’ve had both a viewing with ease and dealt with a good level of awareness and confidence. Lesley supported me timely for the document parts so in the end I felt guided surely throughout all the stages.
After my offer has been accepted but before the day of handing over of the keys I’ve asked if I could make an additional visit for taking some measurements while I was ordering furniture, and this extra request has been met promptly and effectively.
I’m very happy of having found my awesome new place in an area of London even better than expected. I’ve also had a new appliance fitted in the kitchen, which is not something anybody would give for granted in London.
I do recommend Razieh, Lesley, and all the Bloomsbury branch of Greater London Property. What else to say… Property agency as it should be.

I was very impressed by GLP. I found them through Get Agent. The sales manager, Oskar, spent a long time discussing and viewing the property, and followed this up very efficiently. Even though he did not suggest the top valuation out of the 3 I sought, I still chose GLP because of their professional approach and their lower sales fee and am glad I did. Follow up interaction with Dan, who communicated with solicitors for both sides and the flat management company agent, worked very well. The conveyancing was smooth and fast. Another plus for me was the option given to me for GLP to pass on 10 percent of the sales fee to a local school. I jumped at this opportunity.

I recently tried to use this estate agent to rent a property in Central London. I was misinformed and mislead throughout the process, they initially offered a 12 month contract as I only needed the place for a year, then insisted that the contract had to be 36 months in length (presumably to drum up more commission from the unknowing landlord). After sending bank statements, proof of home ownership etc., I had to pull out at the contract stage as they refused to alter the contract length to what they initially offered; wasted two weeks of my time where I could've been looking for another place. Stay away!

Greater London Properties claim to be different - we think that this claim is justified.
When needing an agent for our property in Kings Cross, we visited ten or so agents in the area and were immediately struck by the reception we had at the GLP Bloomsbury offices. They were friendly, down to earth and immediately responsive.
We appointed GLP to manage a fairly major refurbishment of our property and to then arrange a new tenancy.
All our dealings with GLP have been more than satisfactory. They are very good at communications, both email and telephone.

Used these guys just over a year ago. I could share with you many a tale of greed and incompetancy. However a few notable highlights:
2 days before moving in, one of the staff members rang us saying the landlord has declined the offer. I spent half an hour talking specifically around what the situation in the context of my flatmate and myself.. she called me by name several times and after saying it around the fifth time she realised she had rang person? Oh how we laughed... after a half hour anxiety attack.
One fantastic service GLP provide is on the replacement of light bulbs upon your departure. The scheme is headed by their wonderfully charasmatic property manager and he has a nose for attention to detail. Now one might think this is an easy task, there's even a popular gag around it. However they really pull out all the stops and charge £210 to replace 3 standard light bulbs. Now you might that's a tad on the pricey but don't worry guys "it covers labour, materials and parking". Now I must assume that their system is to hire Robert Downey Jr and Lionel Messi, get them a Lamborghini Veneno, park it in the dead centre of Covent Garden, have them brought the rest of the way on prize stallions and use light bulbs encrusted with the finest rubys and sapphires to be found across the commonwealth.
I would rather buy a tent, map the past 10 years of reported London knife crimes, statistically find the exact square meter where I am most likely to get stabbed and stay there for 12 months then use GLP again... and I'd still have enough change for 2 lightbulbs.

I have had the best experience with Maureen Allouche while searching for a flat in the Marylebone area. Her approach is very professional but friendly at the same time and most importantly she is very proactive and hands on. She knows the market very well and she always makes time to listen to your requirements. I strongly recomment Glp and Maureen Allouche in particular.

I've lived in London for 15 years and moved flat about 10 times and I have to say Alex is the best estate agent I've dealt with! He was extremely courteous and helpful, changed a viewing time at short notice to accommodate us, was extremely well informed about the flat and helped to get our offer accepted and forms dealt with promptly. Lydia was very efficient, friendly and helpful with the contract paperwork. We're delighted with out flat and the service we have received.
