This office, and the desk of Ricky Chan, continually harass me with unsolicited letters requesting that i somehow sell the property i rent from social housing, even after i have asked them not to. Even more, the letter tries to convince me to pass the information on to the owner, in the hope that they'll kick me out for the purpose of selling. Deceiving. Rented us a flat JUST before they started having scaffolding around the building that we couldn't even open the windows properly or even LOOK OUT and the scaffolding stayed on our ENTIRE LEASE. It got terribly dusty and noisy in the mornings from this. Had some minor wear and tears from living there and told us it was £375 to fix. Charged us £200+ for professional cleanup. Also took quite a long time getting our deposit back. No brief for checking out. They just want to sell. They ask you to leave a 5 star review once u move in without fully living in the property yet. I am very happy to have sold my flat through the team at Dexters in Bloomsbury. Selling my home was both nerve-wracking and exciting and I feel Dexters was the right choice for me. I spoke to multiple agents before deciding that Michael Keating had the right balance of optimism and pragmatism to secure a good sale. Some other agencies gave me other estimates and either very negative expectations or unnervingly optimistic that left me cautious. I was selling my own home and felt that each viewing of my private space was because they had a genuine potential buyer rather than just bringing anyone and everyone into my bedroom. Ultimately a smooth sale went through that showed Dexters had given an accurate and appropriate presentation of the property prior to the offer being made. It was extremely stressful to find a place while still being abroad, but Joe's prompt replies and patient explanations made everything easier. To sign a two-year contract without being able to check things in person was a huge decision, thus I had to rely on photos and videos to verify the quality and condition of the flat and its surroundings, and I kept coming up with new questions about numerous details, but Joe tirelessly and thoroughly explained everything. Noting my concerns, he also pointed to situations that were not visible in the videos, for example, he brought to my attention that some construction was going on not far from the property. At one point, I was hesitating between two similar properties, and Joe helped to point out the subtle yet critical nuances between the respective surroundings and communities, which one could never tell if only looking at them on Google Map. With deep regret, I used this branch of Dexters to sell my central London apartment. After accepting an offer in June 2021, Dexters did not make any progress on my sale until February 2022 (8 months later!). Every time I asked Dexters for an update I got a generic copy/paste response that they were 'awaiting, awaiting, awaiting' and couldn't do anything to make progress. Dexters had absolutely no sense of urgency, made absolutely no effort to make precautions against delays, didn't respond to calls or update me on progress. I had to spend so much of my own time and energy chasing Dexters and I was forced to be far more involved than I should have been. In my experience, the staff proved to have terrible knowledge? of the real estate industry. Not only that, they lack very basic communication and organisational skills and the manner in which they talk to clients is disgraceful. Special shoutout to Palwasha Gill, Michael Keating and Guy Thornton are the worst of a bad branch. After making an internal complaint, I found their Customer Relations Team to be equally useless. I ended up taking my complaint to the Property Ombudsman who sided with me, and agreed that Dexters was a failure. Dexters now have to pay me compensation. Don't make the same mistake I did, in comparison Frank Harris were exceptional.... Read more

I booked a viewing fairly last minute during the pandemic on top of which I had quite specific property requests and I received a quick reaction and amazing service.
