I tend to be vocal when we do not receive what we expect as a reasonable level of service.
I also want people to know that we can provide feedback when we have had a very positive customer experience. The last 2-3 days regarding moving quickly on approvals and move in for a new tenant fall into this category without question. There has not been a single minute where I felt every one of the team was doing anything short of their utmost to get things done quickly and thoroughly for both ourselves (as landlord) and also the incoming tenant.
Thanks to everyone, visible or otherwise, who has contributed to making this an extremely positive customer experience.

I consistently felt hostility during my time with certain individuals working in Garton Jones Albert Embankment. Aggressive and rude approach in general and strong focus on materialism rather than ethical and helpful communication. Extreme lack of care for cooperation and an ugly experience. For your own sake, avoid.

Thieves, do not waste your time and money
When at first they showed us the property they said that in the case of not passing the credit check we would have to pay 6 months up front and we agreed.
After paying the holding deposit to secure the property and not passing the credit check we were ready to pay 6 months straight away as it had been agreed, but then, they changed the terms stablished before and asked for 12 months upfront.
We waited for almost two days to get an answer from this company (never got a final response) and we had to call them several times as we saw a huge lack of interest on our situation. They kept coming up with excuses and more excuses.
They also kept the money and said we lie on our references which is certainly not true.
We lost our money, time and patience with Garton Jones agency
Please don’t make the same mistake

Garton Jones have completely changed my opinion of estate agents based on previous awful experiences. The service was friendly and professional throughout - from viewing throughout to check out of a property. Riaan showed us the property that we later went on to rent. It was clear that Riaan was genuine and honest about the property, and did not try to encourage or sway our decision - not pushy like other agents can be. Vanessa then went on to organise everything for the tenancy. Any queries that we had Vanessa was very timely to respond and resolve. She was extremely helpful, friendly and made the whole experience easy for us - again, not like many other agents. Throughout our tenancy, Melisha always welcomed any queries we had and did her best to help us - and in a very friendly and timely manner. Towards the end of our tenancy, Riaan and Melisha were extremely helpful in making a quite chaotic situation as stress-free as possible. They ensured the interests of us as tenants as well as the landlord - something I have not experienced with other estate agents. I would definitely recommend Garton Jones Albert Embankment and would use them again myself if we decide to stay in the area. Thank you for providing such a friendly and professional service and restoring my faith in estate agents!

I am an overseas landlord. I used two agents for letting. When you use more than one agent, you can tell the differences. Garton Jones(GJ) was very active on finding a suitable tenant for me, and managed to deliver several offers within 1weeks. That was really amazing. I felt bad when I turned down one of the offers. GJ didn’t say much, they just keep trying to find another one for me. Special thanks to Patrick, he was very professional, reliable, polite and efficient. He was very helpful and understanding from my viewpoint as well as the tenant, and conducted a tenancy meets our needs quickly. I feel supported and listened to. He was really awesome.
GJ also helped me on handover on completion. Instead of just pick up the keys, Riaan also checked the flat and sent me 5 emails with many photos, to show me the flat, warranty info and his advices. I feel trustworthy after receiving these services. He keeps his words, when he says he would do something, he does.
I would strong recommend GJ for letting.

They gave us sound advice and discussed a strategy for dealing with the property which responded to our requirements and left open both sales and rental options. We did not feel pressured by the staff but much more supported and listened to. I arrived from Paris with no flat. Within a week, I had sereal viewings in peaceful, comfortable and no so expensive flats. The Agents are responsive and sympathic so that you can move into your flat quickly.

Beyond useless. Staff have a bad attitude including the Managing Director. All they are interested in is taking your money with no customer service skills at all. Avoid Shaun and Kieran Chalker as they are quite possibly the rudest people I have ever come across.

We had a choice of agents to go through when deciding to put an offer in on a particular property and decided to go with Garton Jones as the agent (Patrick Gavin) seemed genuine/honest and didn't try patronising or pressuring us. Having now exchanged I can happily say that we were completely validated in our choice. Patrick, Riaan and the whole team at GJ were fantastic, they really went above and beyond to chase up loose ends and keep things moving. Special mention must go to Patrick who was just fantastic, constantly engaged, smiling and reassuring and has really changed my opinion of estate agents.
