We have just completed our sale of a leasehold flat and would 100% recommend Glen Hall to everyone looking for estate and property expertise from a friendly, supportive and professional agent.
Farooq has an in depth knowledge of market trends and thanks to his advice and also his understanding of potential buyers' needs, we had received an offer of the full asking price within a week of advertising.
The sale was then complicated by matters outside ours and Farooq's control - a change in the flat's managing agents and an unresponsive solicitor who was supposed to be acting for our buyer. Throughout these challenges, Farooq was proactive in seeking answers and updates from the flat's managing agents, freeholder, buyer and their solicitor and also proactive in updating us - thanks to his tenacity and hard work, we exchanged and completed last week.
Communication from Farooq, from start to finish, has been excellent and his advice has been invaluable - we cannot thank him enough!

Be careful- advised them of a false and lack of disclosures made to flat4 , 33 parkhurst road , n113gz and they did not care at all! The poor buyer will end up walking into a share if freehold nightmare, and the seller never had planning permission knew about it but concealed it and now still lying to sell to avoid court case for breach if fiduciary duties ! The estate agent clearly wants his commission of values of ethics ! Be careful - advised companies house who will mark the management company and court is still pending hearing so becareful when buying for correct disclosures! The secretary of this company and all of them in this case are being litigated, so trying to sell to avoid proceedings and also even tampered with member register!
Never be fooled by desperate sellers and estate agents who clearly don’t care!

As a British Citizen living in Melbourne Australia, I have used the letting services of Glenhall for 7 years.
Also, recently to sell my 1 bedroom flat in New Southgate N11.
Having known Farooq and his understanding of lettings, I decided he was the best representitive to alleivate the process of procuring a legal conveyancer and for Glenhall Estates to market the flat.
Well, I could ask for no more. Clear communication from Farooq and his understanding of the timings and completion. Also, delicatley communicating with (myself!) the conveyancer, tenants and the buyer.

I have now used Glen Hall 3 times to rent out flats in the last 2 years. They offer excellent customer service and have made my life a lot easier since I live over 50 miles from the properties whilst their office is just round the corner. I am 100% sure that, if I ever come to sell this flat, I will be phoning Farooq of Glen Hall. If it had not been for him, I might well not have bought it. I was a cash buyer. No chain. The vendor already had his own house. But I needed the vendor to get from the freeholders an extension of the lease and a minor change to the lease. This should have been simple but turned into a something very complex. The freeholders and the vendor used three different firms of solicitors operating out of a total of four offices to deal with a simple one bedroom flat cash transaction. None of them where in a hurry. For me, a nightmare. My solicitor professionally could only phone the vendor's solicitors, not the others. I expected, if I phoned one of the other solicitors or the freeholders (a housing association) direct, I would be told immediately to ring my own solicitor for information. The vendor's solicitors were not returning his own calls. This sale would have failed if it were not for Farooq. He was the one person who had the capability and energy and bravery to keep emailing and phoning the different solicitors and the freeholders, keep tabs on where the transaction had got to and press it forward. He gave me the confidence that I need not start again looking at other flats. He was always readily available on the phone. He always quickly returned emails. Just the sort of energetic estate agent you need to make sure, if you get a purchaser, your sale actually goes through. And I am very pleased with the flat!

Overall, i have had a very positive experience as a tenant with the team at Glenhall. This is the 10th time i am renting a room and i can say Glenhall have provided the best service out of all other agencies i have worked with. They have excellent communication, are very approachable and quick to act. As an example, after arriving home from holidays on the 1st of January and realizing i had lost my keys, i called them for help and they took the trouble to meet me at the office the next day to provide me with a second pair of keys even though it was their day off.
