I had an excellent experience with Green & Company at the Boldmere branch. From the very start, I was guided through the entire process of buying a property by their mortgage advisor, John Cross. He took the time to explain everything, from the buying process to mortgage options and insurance, which made me feel confident every step of the way. Shakila, the branch manager, was incredibly supportive and a really warm person, always making sure I felt comfortable with each decision. Kerry was with me from start to finish, providing excellent help and ensuring everything ran smoothly.
The communication throughout was fantastic—responses were often within minutes, and I never felt like any question was too small or insignificant. They were always quick to follow up with the vendors too, which kept everything on track. When I went to collect my keys on Friday, I was delighted to find a lovely gift and a thoughtful card waiting for me. Shakila even offered to take a photo of me picking up my keys on my own phone to capture the moment—good thing I had my makeup on! I couldn't be happier with the service and the care I received from the whole team. Highly recommend Green & Company for anyone looking for a smooth and memorable property purchase experience.

After a not so favourable 10 week experience with another agency (who shall not be named), I reached out to Green & Co, Boldmere. Quite frankly, from the word go, Shakila and her team have been first rate, and most importantly, very responsive! They took up the mantle and just ran with it, and the resulting viewings came in. We had a potential buyer within a couple of weeks of the house going on the market (as opposed to the previous agency who had 10 weeks and hardly got anyone through our front door).
There are quite a few estate agents to choose from in our area of Birmingham, but I would say to ignore the sales stats some of them will throw at you, and simply go with an agent who cares AND who knows what they’re doing. That is Green & Company.

Couldn't speak more highly of this team, in particular Katie and Shakila.
Katie was always really friendly, showing us round (multiple times) the house we went on to buy, and answering any questions we had- she then continued to be a friendly and patient voice on the phone (after calling far too many times!). This genuinely made the whole experience a much more enjoyable one.
Shakila was exceptionally professional, skilled and calm when dealing with several difficult moments in the purchase. She also gave helpful advice about how to fairly negotiate on the price of the property, which for first-time buyers was really helpful.

We have recently completed on a house purchase in Sutton Coldfield with Green&Co. Our specific contact was Shakila who was wonderful throughout the entire process, from the day we made an offer right until completion. She was always accessible via phone/email and would respond quickly to any queries we had. We never felt the need to chase anything as it was all in hand. Couldn't have asked for a better experience buying a house for the first time!
We also used John Cross the in-house mortgage broker who was absolutely brilliant and I'm so glad we used him. He was so thorough meaning that once he had the information we didn't need to keep repeating it and he made sure we got the best deal. The ladies that work behind the scenes for him were very efficient and good at keeping us up to date with progress. We plan to use him again when the time arises and would definitely be considering using Green&Co as our agents again.

I was pleased with Green & Company Boldmere and would recommend them because they managed my sale and purchase with calm professionalism and the third-party solicitors and mortgage broker they recommended provided a good, affordable service. Their whole process from beginning to end was smooth, well-communicated, and professional. At no point did I feel like I needed to "manage" the estate agents and they were also available to answer my queries about the process and next steps so I felt in control and prepared - there are enough spinning plates with buying/selling a house but I was able to almost ignore the estate agency part of it, confident that Green & Co. were working on my behalf in the background.

There are really no words to describe how happy we are with the service that we received from Greens. They say that selling and buying properties is one of the most stressful things we can do in life. That is absolutely true but our journey was made so much easier by the mazing service and support we received from Ian and Chris at the Boldmere Branch of Greens. They were outstanding and without their support I would have been so much more anxious. Ian was that buffer between ourselves and the solicitor and other parties. Nothing was too much trouble, whenever I called him, which seemed to be on a daily basis towards the end , he was so kind and supportive. He did exactly what he said he would do, he always returned my calls and answered my emails.
We moved on the agreed date and this would certainly have not been possible with Ian and Chris's interventions.
I cannot recommend them highly enough.
We are so very grateful to you and all of your colleagues who were also always friendly and efficient when I called .

G&C were very good answering buyer enquiries and negotiating with the sellers. However, the property was handed to us very filthy with food leftovers in the kitchen and a brown wheelie bin full of garden waste (in December!). We were given no manual of the property and really struggled to figure out where basic things are or how they work. A property manual is something that other estate agents ask the sellers to prepare to make the transition of the new occupiers more straightforward. We doubt they told the sellers to leave the property in a reasonably clean estate. There were also issues with items that the sellers were supposed to leave as part of the purchase like furniture etc. and our solicitor informed us (after completion!) that the list of items prepared by us and the sellers was not the same. The solicitor also showed us a message from the seller to G&C with the list of items that was not shared with us. As problems came after completion and G&C got paid their efforts to help were none existent indeed and kept passing the buck to the solicitors. No efforts to even contact the sellers to arrange rubbish removal despite pictures of the problem were shared with them. Almost two months since we moved in and we do not have answers for the missing items issue. We also noted that they tend not to answer emails sent to their main email address like it happened to us two times while placing home offers! Kudos for Fleur though our mortgage broker she was very good and helpful.

After the initial visit for photos and measurements from Paul, I heard nothing from them. My property was on with them for 6 weeks. I learn from my new estate agents that its illegal to market a property without the EPC information, which mine never got. Even though I had a company come round and do all there checks? They also never removed the "awaiting vendors approval" on rightmove, when I posted them the very next day of Paul's visit. They don't seem to work weekends as you could never get though to them on the phone?

I had thought of using an online agent for the sale of our house, but given the issues we encountered I'm very glad we didn't. Yes, the cost was more than online, but I feel it was worth it. A buyer who pulled out without good reason on the day of exchanging contracts really complicated matters, but the staff at Green & Co handled matters very well. An expression of interest which had been made some months before was chased up and this turned into a firm offer and eventually a sale. Regular updates were very welcome, and all staff were friendly and efficient. Lindy was very good at shepherding the sale through and keeping us fully informed of all developments. So although the journey was long and at times traumatic, Green & Co performed well at all stages.

They kept us informed of all viewings by phone and a reminder email and provided us valuable feedback after the viewings were completed. Everyone in the office is so friendly, special thanks to Naz and Lindy and also to Kate and Geraldine for ensuring that we only had genuine prospective buyers viewing our property and of course Mark. No time wasters, thank goodness.
They have provided honest and impartial information about solicitors, removal companies and arranged for the EPC.
