From the initial contact with Carol-Anne, the service was second to none. When Carol-Anne was out of the office, the rest of the team were as responsive to queries. They made the process of buying a house through them exciting, rather than painful. We won't be moving for a while as love our new house but if we do move, I wouldn't hesitate in contacting the team.

After having had a terrible time with another agent I had Hamptons come to value my property to sell. Instantly I felt comfortable with Carol-Anne, her confidence, ability to see the positives and be honest about the weaknesses. The rate was fair compared to others. The communication throughout the sale, was fantastic from all the team and multiple viewers/buyers were all dealt with professionally and safely during covid and my health issues. I would highly recommend Hamptons, their honest, no fuss approach was refreshing. To have someone available whenever you need in a small team was reassuring and the communication between the team was top class. We have recently had an offer accepted on a house via Hamptons (very early days) and whilst things could go wrong, one thing that they have very right is lovely staff. Jenny showed us around the property twice and was so knowledgeable and approachable. Her passion and vision for property was refreshing and made all the difference. Our questions were answered quickly and always with polite yet warm professionalism. Fingers crossed it's smooth sailing for us here on out, but even if it isn't - I praise Jenny and wish all estate agents had such lovely staff.

Having had a very dire experience of trying to buy a property through a competitor of Hamptons in Deddington (I can't mention names as I'll be here for ever), I have to say it was dream to purchase my lovely new home with the help of such a great company, and especially, Jenny Whelehan.
From my first appointment to Exchange of Contract, Jenny was 100% professional, charming, polite...really everything you could hope for and really contrary to my previous experience and probably to many others (we've all experienced over the years).

Hamptons Deddington went the extra mile to help me get the perfect house. As a buyer you understand that estate agents are working for the seller, but having recognised how much I wanted the house and that it and I were a perfect fit, Hamptons supported me all the way through the minefield of an unusually tricky purchase which, but for their professional knowledge and expertise, tenacity, patience and diplomacy might well have fallen through. Having had some interesting experiences with estate agents when it came to selling again I choose Hamptons for their reputation. I have to say I was extremely impressed by the service I have received. Simon initially visited us and was very honest and in no way put any pressure on us as we were uncertain about selling, he gave us good advice and was reassuring. Having met Simon and realised he would not handle our sale I had a concern about who would! Sarah handled our sale and from my first meeting I was reassured, she was professional and clearly good with potential purchasers. Fortunately we sold quickly but the service received following this was excellent, keeping us informed and also chasing where required. Every contact I had with the office was friendly and professional. I think at some point I dealt with everyone in the team who were all excellent but I would like to thank Sarah in particular who is a credit to the company. Hamptons Deddington have been fantastic throughout the process from valuation through to completion. With a reputation for spot-on local knowledge, this really gives them the edge over their competitors especially when it comes to village properties; the many benefits of these properties are often overlooked by other agents. We had a challenging experience with many questions raised during the process as the property was leasehold, but Hamptons stuck with it and their communication throughout was impeccable truly treating you as a first class client at all times. Wouldn't hesitate to use this firm again and I'd urge others to.
