My mother recently sold her house in Henley through Hamptons. She had spent the previous year trying several other agents to no avail. When she approached Matt at the Henley office she was immediately impressed by his warm and professional manner. She felt confident that he would manage to complete the sale and with good reason as a few moths later the sale was agreed. Furthermore the experience was relatively stress free as Matt managed all parts in the chain and the process ran smoothly. She and I could not recommend this business highly enough.

I went through a difficult purchase with Hamptons. I felt they did a poor job at moderating their clients' increasingly hysterical impulses as the sale dragged on. The client even wanted to raise the price in a falling market, although the team at Hamptons did at least talk them out of anything this rash. I explained the reasons for the delays at my end but this was just met with obtuse questions and the unrealistic moving forward of deadlines. I would not recommend selling or buying through this agency considering they charge a premium over a local agent. My solicitors were apalled at the anxiety-inducing tactics the agents used to (counter-productively) try to hurry along the sale.

Absolutely terrible experience with this team, Lupe in particular who lied and deceived their way through the process. We went to sealed bids and were told at the end that we had been the best bid and selected and then 48 hours later were told that they had decided to take another offer. 4 months later we checked and they sold the property for £1k more than our bid, sounds like something bordering fraud is going on in this estate agency. I would never view another property with them again.

We bought our house in Wargrave through the Henley branch of Hamptons and the service has been outstanding. Lupe has been extraordinarily responsive and proactive. Absolutely nothing has been too much bother with regards to pushing the sale/our purchase through or liaising with the seller when needed. We were hoping to complete before the end of the stamp duty holiday (end of June), and in the end we completed a whole month before that.

The Henley team really are quite wonderful. We purchased a house through them a few months ago and when it looked like things were about to take a turn for the worse, James stepped in and managed it to a successful completion using his extensive experience. Stefano is so knowledgable about the area and as a family moving from London, gave us tips about local schools and the regatta season. We really did have a great experience with them and have even recommended them to friends who aren’t even buying a house, just in case!

After successfully selling two properties for us we have just let our our property with the full management service from Hamptons. From our first contact with Katie White (Lettings Manager) and our follow up service with Rebecca Manson (Lettings Negotiator) we couldn't be happier. Katie gave us an excellent appraisal including presentation hints to achieve the best rental return. Her marketing strategy was spot on and this meant that Rebecca was off to a flying start in finding us the best tenant. Rebecca is attentive and is meticulous to detail so that as soon as we were ready to launch she had pre vetted a series of suitable applicants and had us 3 competing offers (two better than asking) prior to our web listing - I might add that the photographer did an amazing job and our photos are stunning). As a result we had agreed a tenant in 2 hours. Regardless of this, Rebecca worked tirelessly with the tenant to obtain full vetting while continuing to hold other leads so we were never without a back up. Rebecca gave us excellent perspective about all offers which allowed us to pick the tenant that best suited our property. I would highly recommend Hamptons in Henley - they are true professionals and take all the pain out of property management. They seem to have a ready and waiting list of applicants and can get the job done quickly with 1st class results so if you are thinking of letting - give them a call!

My house was not on the market but Hamptons in Henley had been round to do a valuation some time before. They called me out of the blue to ask if a very interested potential buyer could look round, this was done on a Friday morning and a first offer came later the same day and after negotiations managed by Hamptons over the weekend an offer at full asking price was agreed the next Monday! After that the whole thing was well managed, especially with Laura at the branch helping out with some issues lower in the chain. I have no hesitation in recommending Hamptons.
