Lindsey and Hamish went above and beyond to sell our house, and achieved the asking price within a week of it being put on the market. They were so kind and helpful throughout the process and were very thoughtful. I couldn't recommend them highly enough. They are excellent communicators and always kept us up to date with any developments. When the chain collapsed initially they worked so hard to fix it and to reassure us. The were brilliant.

Absolutely useless when it comes to property management. I've had an ongoing issue with mould due to failed damp proofing for 2 months. I still don't have an agreed solution. Definitely don't rent through Hamptons if you can avoid it.

The whole Hamptons team at Balham were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. They were very efficient about arranging visits and feeding back to us and managed our sale process with aplomb! We strongly recommend this wonderful team!

We considered using Hamptons to sell our flat, but ended up buying the house on the other side of our transaction through Callum. As you would expect when buying a house, there were some stressful moments, but ultimately he was always straight and fair with us, even when we disagreed on price, and far easier to deal with than some of the other muppets in and around Balham. He also was very helpful with a couple of extra viewings we asked for to show around my parents who live overseas, which was kind.

Gascoigne Pees Epsom branch is, by far, the worst estate agents I have ever had the displeasure to deal with. The purchase of my property went ahead despite their incompetence, however their dealings were so bad that at one point they did make me question the purchase of my property. It took over 6 weeks and multiple calls and emails to get our property off right move. I heard every excuse under the sun, even blaming it on the fact their offices had moved to India, and I was told by multiple staff, that the property would be taken down off right move within 24 hours. In the end, after 6 weeks it got so bad, I threatened to pull out of the purchase and fortunately I got a lovely man named Matthew, who actually worked for a different branch, who took the property down within the hour. It seems that the fault actually laid with their system, despite their excuses. We asked our epsom agent, how much the service charge was and he informed us it was £1600 a year. However, when we received the contract we discovered the service charge was actually £2300, a difference of £58 a month. To be so grossly misinformed is not acceptable. Even getting a viewing for the property my partner had to send two emails and chase up. You would think they didn't want a sale! When we tried to book a second viewing they booked another viewing so close to ours, we had limited time to walk around, and my family members who were running slightly late didn't even get the opportunity to see it. The only thing they did do was allow us to get some measurements taken for shutters whilst our surveyor was there. However, I had to argue tooth and nail for this also. It is my understanding an estate agents is meant to help with the selling and purchase of a property, in my opinion Gascoigne Pees Epsom did nothing but hinder our purchase. When we come to resell it will certainly not be with them.
