Lindsey and Hamish went above and beyond to sell our house, and achieved the asking price within a week of it being put on the market. They were so kind and helpful throughout the process and were very thoughtful. I couldn't recommend them highly enough. They are excellent communicators and always kept us up to date with any developments. When the chain collapsed initially they worked so hard to fix it and to reassure us. The were brilliant.

Absolutely useless when it comes to property management. I've had an ongoing issue with mould due to failed damp proofing for 2 months. I still don't have an agreed solution. Definitely don't rent through Hamptons if you can avoid it.

I would not recommend the Southbourne branch of Austin and Wyatt for the following reasons: - Accepted a verbal confirmation that we needed to end the contract but the contract carried on after the 14 days and when queried we were advised that the cancellation needed to be in writing. - I sent them an email requesting that the original cancellation date be honoured as it had been accepted by one of their agents but received no reply. - After the cancellation date had been met they did not remove the property from Rightmove which delayed our new estate agent advertising the property for us. They were chased and took 3 days to remove it from Rightmove. - I asked them to provide me with a list of people that had viewed the property through them as I was obliged to provide this information to the new estate agent. Chased twice and 6 weeks later have still not received a reply or the list - I very rarely got a call back when promised and had to chase continually. - They sent us letters that continually got our names wrong and the whole thing just felt unprofessional, that staff were not fully trained and that communication was poor. A very difficult and disappointing service.
