James Pendleton - Clapham South & Balham

53-55 Balham Hill, Balham

David provided probably the best service possible whilst going through the process of buying our first flat together. David was very responsive and knowledgable, he did everything in his power to progress the transaction. David knew the intricacies of each property we visited and was able to help us end up with exactly what we wanted by taking the time to understand what we were looking for an match it to what was on the books. Couldn't recommend David/James Pendleton highly enough.

Do not use this agency. We have been tenants for six months and never have I been treated so poorly by estate agents. They will sign you, take your money and abandon you. Do not use this agency!!

Lauristons - Wimbledon

66 - 68 Wimbledon Hill Road

Lauristons (specifically Polly Laker) has been absolutely fantastic to us! From carefully selecting properties that closely match our needs to ferrying us around in her car between viewings, and even helping us manage our energetic two-year old toddler as we viewed houses - Polly went the extra mile to help us find our dream home. We would highly recommend Lauristons for their highly professional and extremely helpful staff to anyone looking for support on their property search. Anant and Soledad

This is perhaps the worst rental agency I have worked with, I have been with several over the years. They have lost cover letters and terms of my rental, they charge for references (I have not had another agency do this), they have around £650 worth of hidden check out fees, and are generally rude. I would highly recommend people to use another estate agents when renting, I am looking to take them to small claims for negligence.

They have been brilliant to work with as a landlord. They market the property and have found us excellent tenants quickly. Though we manage the property they have provided really helpful advice and assistance. Their communication has been first class.

It's been two months since we've moved out and we still didn't get the deposit back!!! Blood-sucking leaches!! Think 3 times before renting from them

Foxtons - Streatham

82 Streatham High Road

Writing this on behalf of my girlfriend who got the opportunity of meeting Jeya and doing some house viewings. Jeya was professional and polite and friendly and although we didn’t end up finding a place with her she helped my girlfriend make the right decision with the other houses she had seen with other estate agents. Went out of her way to help what is such a stressful process the right choice. Thanks so much Jeya will definitely recommend you.

I was shocked at how bad the service we received was when we tried to rent out our flat through Foxtons. 1. We were told out tenant was a problem and would not allow viewings even though she was a short let tenant put into the property by the corporate team. She declined 3 viewings when she first moved in as she was not given enough notice and as was still moving items in. On one occasion we were told that the lettings team could not get in to the flat even though the tenant was on holiday. 2. We had 105 cancelled viewings! This is our biggest issue with the how bad the service from the office and the negotiators was. We feel that our flat was just an add on/leaver flat used to rent other properties and then use the feedback to reduce our price. 3. We only received 2 offers that were well below asking price. 4. The lack of constructive feedback was a major issue. We were told the problem was solely the price, if that was the case why did we not have more under asking price offers? 5. We put the flat on Openrent and we did 7 viewings and had 5 asking price offers with no cancellations! Having worked for foxtons for may years, I was appalled by the experience that I received and expected the best possible service and experience and so rather than being delighted to recommend foxtons to everyone I know, I will be recommending Openrent! The feel that the reasons we had so many problems with you was, the lack of staff in the office, at one point there was only 1 neg, the lack of experience of all the negs that booked viewings was very apparent as they would book a viewing but then not go. We felt that they were only booking viewings on our flat to keep us happy If I could not give any stars, I would!

I can highly recommend KFH for anyone looking to rent a property. I've just secured a flat through these guys and I've been very impressed with the speed and professionalism of the team, particularly when going through the references process (which is often quite stressful). Big shout out to Lloyd for taking my calls outside normal working hours and getting everything over the line so quickly and thoroughly. Thanks again.

Alistair Murphy

To be absolutely honest both my wife and I do not have a single good word to say about our experience of the manager or the team at this KFH branch. Following the completion of our sale we thought long and hard about complaining but felt that it would be a waste of our time and ultimately we had much more important things to do after moving house. In summary: - Entry to our property was made without gaining our permission. - Not once did anyone from this KFH office offer their congratulations upon the completion of the sale of the flat, all we received was an invoice. However the biggest issue is that the manager and the other sales staff exerted a pressure that did not exist from the buyer of our flat because it was in their own interests to do so. We were told that our buyer was on the brink of pulling out numerous times, this was pure fabrication. We know this as once we got in contact with our buyer directly, she could not have been more relaxed and laid back about it all. To be frank it was disgraceful unforgivable behaviour and caused real upset to my wife and I. It was completely unprofessional and completely unnecessary. We would not recommend this branch of KFH to anyone, ever. If we could give a rating of zero stars we would.

Be very careful with this cheap agency they try to charge my friend to get tenants reference. they text her telling that an agency asking for reference for her and without a fee payment they wouldn’t give any reference

GetAgent makes finding an estate agent easier.

Very helpful in arranging for 3 agents to come around and put their pitch for marketing our property. Having them as an intermediary made the process...

A very good comparison website

A very good comparison website for checking local estate agencies. We used it to check who have sold the most in our area and the results were very useful to us.

I chose one of the recommended estate agents from getagent and they have been marvellous.Had an offer on the property after first viewings

Easy to use.

Very quick service, within an hour I had my valuation set up with 2 different companies. Saves time as well as you don't need to trawl the internet.

Mrs susan fletcher

It really helped my decision making

There are so many estate agents to choose from but they provided details with the numbers of houses each had sold in my area and which had achieved the asking price which I found most helpful

Mrs Heather Marshall

Choose the right agent for your house.

An amazingly easy way to choose your estate agent with total confidence. I did and among the many found the right one for my house. Speedy, responsive, considerate and effective. Thank you.
