My experience of Harper and Woods is positive. From my initial enquiry through to the tenant moving into my flat, I found Mel to be polite, helpful and efficient. She also answered my questions honestly. Nicky in the office was also helpful. My only gripe is that I had to leave a message on many occasions when I telephoned the office although, in fairness, I was always contacted fairly soon afterwards.... Read more

Harper and Woods turned up on time and inspected the property. They came with a bundle of information and printouts regrading recent local sales history. They were identical in approach and costs of another local estate agent and far better that another well known national one. Andrew was very approachable, open to questions and listened to what was being said. The quality of photographs and video were very good and were up and running the day after they were taken. He even turned up early on the day photographs were taken to get a front aspect photograph in the sunlight as heavy rain was forecast. During the sales procedure there was a little hiccup, nothing to do with or to the detriment of Harper & Woods. They were quick to call me and matters dealt with swiftly and no fuss. kept me informed of viewing to take place and feedback after each viewing. Obtained 2 offers within 10 days, one for the full asking price. This is a local family firm and I am pleased I went with them. Andrew, what a credit to his company.... Read more

Though the sale if our home is not 100% complete yet, we are more than happy with the service received from Harper and Woods so far. They went out of their way (literally) to get our photos done and our house on the market in a rush as we wanted to move ASAP in order to put an offer in on our next property. I can honestly say without their efficiency, great photos and descriptions and them taking ownership of the viewings, there is no way it would have all gone as smoothly as it did, and more importantly as quick as it did! They have been responsive throughout and I would definitely use them in any future endeavours. Every member of staff we met, including one of the directors was trustworthy, friendly, honest and professional. I've rented a property from them for 2 years trying to get a reply from them to get repairs done is a joke. Intact just some communication would help. Am at the point now we're i have water coming through the ceiling. so it's up to them now to sort it out am living with a bowl and jug on the landing carpet due to leak. Completely unacceptable to say the least. An emergency contact number would help as emergency situations do occur in the real world.... Read more

I understand that with the current pandemic that companies are trying there best but Harper & Woods have failed to be professional, courteous and treat people with respect. My Son was looking for his first flat and arranged a viewing on a flat in Martins Lane with Harper & Woods. The morning of the viewing we checked online to look at the pictures again and noticed that the property was Let. We then tried to contact Harper & Woods to find out what was going on but couldn't contact them via telephone or email. I managed to contact them through Facebook and yes the Flat had already been Let. He had booked a day off work for the viewing and if they had contacted him he could've cancelled his holiday. One week later my son viewed another property with Harper & Woods, he didn't like the 2 bedroom flat and was shown a one bedroom flat in the same building which he loved. He told them there and then that he wanted to apply for it and was emailed the application form, he filled this in and emailed it back to them the same day. One week later no contact from Harper & Woods regarding his application so i rang them to find out where it was up to. I was informed that the flat had been Let, so again they had let him down and had not even contacted him to let him know he was unsuccessful. I asked to speak to the Manager but she wasn't available so i asked for her to ring me, guess what. No phone call, communication is everything and try treating people how you would like to be treated.... Read more
