Harper and Woods did not sell the house,the viewings kind of dried up so we switched to another estate agents for a fresh start. Harper and Woods were ok we just changed for a fresh start.

During the sale of the property in Wallasey I was tied up with other responsibilities and unable to be around. Jonathan Harper took direct personal control over the sale and saw it through smoothly from start to finish. This involved a number of additional items such as hiring a skip and arranging clearance of debris. Jonathan provided a superb and prompt service throughout, kept me informed at all stages to keep my mind at rest and achieved a sale at full valuation.

I used Harper & Woods to find a tenant for my house rental because they were reasonably priced.
Unfortunately, I think their service could be improved. I struggled to contact them at times as nobody picked up the office phone!
I also paid for their inventory service and the information on the report was incorrect and had to be rectified.

Harper and Woods turned up on time and inspected the property. They came with a bundle of information and printouts regrading recent local sales history. They were identical in approach and costs of another local estate agent and far better that another well known national one.
Andrew was very approachable, open to questions and listened to what was being said. The quality of photographs and video were very good and were up and running the day after they were taken. He even turned up early on the day photographs were taken to get a front aspect photograph in the sunlight as heavy rain was forecast. During the sales procedure there was a little hiccup, nothing to do with or to the detriment of Harper & Woods. They were quick to call me and matters dealt with swiftly and no fuss. kept me informed of viewing to take place and feedback after each viewing. Obtained 2 offers within 10 days, one for the full asking price.
This is a local family firm and I am pleased I went with them. Andrew, what a credit to his company.

Expected more from harper and Woods.nobody booked to view the house.Not alot of feedback from Harper and Woods.Very Very disappointed with the company in general.Now l feel that l have lost the last 3 months to a possible sale if l had chosen another Estate Agent.

Though the sale if our home is not 100% complete yet, we are more than happy with the service received from Harper and Woods so far. They went out of their way (literally) to get our photos done and our house on the market in a rush as we wanted to move ASAP in order to put an offer in on our next property. I can honestly say without their efficiency, great photos and descriptions and them taking ownership of the viewings, there is no way it would have all gone as smoothly as it did, and more importantly as quick as it did! They have been responsive throughout and I would definitely use them in any future endeavours. Every member of staff we met, including one of the directors was trustworthy, friendly, honest and professional. They also did not need to bad mouth any other companies to secure our business (which cannot be said of other local agents we spoke to).

Ignorant of relevant and essential legislation. Refuse to answer the phone. Ignore voicemails. Ineffective at resolving issues or simply ignore them. Repeatedly lied/withheld information.

I've rented a property from them for 2 years trying to get a reply from them to get repairs done is a joke. Intact just some communication would help. Am at the point now we're i have water coming through the ceiling. so it's up to them now to sort it out am living with a bowl and jug on the landing carpet due to leak. Completely unacceptable to say the least. An emergency contact number would help as emergency situations do occur in the real world.
