We did end up achieving a higher sale price than he appraised our property for, but it was under offer in 5 days so we were very happy all around. Would recommend

I know sellers back out sometimes but they handled it awfully, we had to learn it from our onwards, they gave no, explanation or advice and showed zero sympathy. They left us off the market for months and we missed several equiries and lost our onwards due to their ineptitude. To make matters worse they were almost double the price of other agents.
3rd Jul 2026 (11 weeks ago)Charlie was excellent during the letting process — punctual at the viewing, quick to answer questions, never pushy, and responsive throughout the negotiation. Full credit to him; if this review were only about renting the place, it would be five stars.<br><br>Unfortunately my experience as a tenant since moving in has been very different. Because of some rain my flat flooded badly, with dirty water coming through the ceiling and windows into every room. None of the emergency numbers in the tenant handbook were answered that night. In the days and weeks that followed I had to chase repeatedly; deadlines the agency set for itself came and went, and several of my emails — including one flagging what appears to be mould developing on my bedroom wall — went unanswered. Weeks on, the flat still hasn't been repaired or dried out.<br><br>Separately, several maintenance issues that were documented at move-in and promised to be fixed have stayed outstanding for months.<br><br>Great at getting you through the door; much less so at looking after you once you're a tenant.

26th Apr 2026 (21 weeks ago)Dhruv Rupapara and Zac Summerhayes were the agents who worked on the sale. They were easy and pleasant to work with and had a good understanding of the market. They sold my flat faster than I expected, were transparent and informative all through the process, answering all my questions with patience and good humour. I would recommend Winkworth Islington and both the agents without hesitation.

9th Sep 2026 (9 days ago)Relisted the property we had paid a holding deposit for without telling us (even though we had passed referencing). It’s been two weeks and they haven’t paid our holding deposit back to us.
10th Sep 2026 (8 days ago)Avoid them. Renting with them has been horrible and you’re better off without it. The leather surface of the sofa has been damaged since the first day of moving in, and they did not deal with it until after the tenancy. The responses about power outages and general maintenance were slow and unhelpful, and they use a third party for inventory check. Said party (checkwells) reports furniture as missing *when you put it in a separate room*. Also, they will ignore you if you lock yourself out of the house. I spent a night in the student centre because of this.

Their team have always been friendly and helpful whenever we've had queries with the flat, and always been on hand when repairs have been needed. Their communation is promt and clear, welcoming and approachable, and the two property managers we have been liaising with recognise us whenever we've needed to stop by for some admin or to drop papers off. A really personable service, and a lovely and refreshing change compared to previous agencies!

I would absolutely recommend working with Chloe if you are looking to work with an agent who will provide complete transparency into the letting process and reassurance that the flat will be looked after and well managed.
