Stayed with the team for three years. Highly professional and they know the ins and outs of managing a property which made things straight forward. Checkin was smooth and handled over the video. Any amendments were made and the team is very responsive. Checkout was also smooth and communication is excellent.
I would encourage greater flexibility when renewing contracts when tenants are looking to shift.

We have worked with Emma and Raphael from Houseman for 8 years and in that time we have found them extremely responsive, acting responsibly on behalf of the tenants and the landlords be it moving in, moving out or issues that occur during the tenancy.
They have very good relations with the contractors they use and can always be relied upon to take a pragmatic view around any issues that crop up. Trust is a word that sometimes gets forgotten in this area, but not here.

If I could, I would not have given a single star for how bad the experience with this agency I had. My deposit was withheld as I paid for cleaning before handing over the keys. They have no reason to stop my deposit because I left the house as it was given to me. I'm going to give them in the court so that others don't suffer like I did. Shame on you .????????????????

I stumbled upon Houseman Properties advertising a 2 bed rental property late summer. Arranged a viewing and was astonished it was a 1:1 appointment. Met with Raphael and the tenant for viewing. From this first visit to moving in Raphael & Emma were extremely helpful, professional and detailed. Everything fell into place quickly efficiently and simply. I was supported through out, all my questions quickly followed up and answered and including awkward questions too were dealt with ease. Move-in was made with ease and follow ups were dealt with professionally with a lot of empathy. All matters were just taken care of. Absolutely amazing!

As a tenant, I couldn't recommend Houseman Properties enough! Raphael showed me the property. Due to the pandemic, he was very respectful and wore PPE.
He spent between 30-45 minutes showing me the property - mostly because I asked a lot of questions!
Raphael then (after seeking permission) created a WhatsApp Group between myself, him and Emma. They provided further information and explained each process in detail. If I wasn't sure, I felt comfortable enough to call Emma who was always responsive.
I felt that both Emma and Raphael went above and beyond. They were completely professional, honest and approachable. They made this an effortless process and answering 101 questions. I really liked the organised process as well as the communication for each stage.

I’ve known you both for several years and we’ve worked together on many occasions which I thank you for. In this time, you’ve sold mums house and this time round a house on behalf of my mother-in-law.
2020 was a challenge for many and during lockdown we had to move Lauren’s nan into full time care. It was a real tough time for all. We put Daphne’s house on the market to afford the full-time care and she unfortunately passed away. 93 years old and I’m pretty sure she wanted to kick my arse.
You guys were absolutely first class. From advising us all on not taking certain offers, advising buyers on future planning permission to avoid time wasters, and handling the family during their loss. All of this as well as keeping the buyers informed throughout the probate.
Thank you both for this above and beyond service. For taking care of the family home in a professional and personal way, achieving a fantastic price and looking after everyone. You guys were immense. Thank you!

Best property company I've rented through. Nothing is ever too much trouble and any problems, however minor, are always dealt with quickly and efficiently. Despite the fact the property is managed by Houseman Properties for the landlord, I always feel that they are looking after me too and I'm never 'just the tenant'. Although the property isn't my house, it is very much my home and my opinion is always kindly taken into consideration if any work needs doing here. Too many horror stories around about renting, but absolutely not the situation here. Great agent, obliging landlord and I'm a very happy tenant!

We rented a property managed by Raphael and Emma Phillips at Houseman Properties for two years. Our experience with Raphael and Emma was fantastic. They were very helpful and efficient when going through the various stages that led to our signing the rental agreement. They were easily reachable once we had moved into the apartment. They were responsive when we raised issues with the apartment. They organised repairs in a time-sensitive manner when needed. They agreed to a number of reasonable requests that we made in terms of replacing old furniture and acquiring new and needed furniture. Now that we have moved to a new place, I can say that Raphael and Emma acted in the same manner through the checkout process. They indicated the steps that we needed to comply with in order to retrieve our deposit and were courteous and responsive throughout the checkout process. All in all, dealing with Raphael and Emma was fantastic.

They are a personable team and take every care and effort to make sure that their customers are looked after. They don't miss a trick and their paperwork and legals are at the top!
