27th Mar 2024 (24 days ago)They either have fake property ads (sales) on Zoopla, or are not trained enough to find them in the system. I had to call a few times to get through to lettings that put me through to sales (the same person picked up) and tried to get me to view something else even though the property is not marked as 'under offer' or 'sold' so it does feel a bit scammy to me especially that the pictures of the property were super blurry, like screenshots from other sites perhaps.

6th Apr 2024 (14 days ago)We had a few viewings from them, there was an offer put in for the house mid December 2023. Client had over £200k of deposit. They pushed us to get solicitor etc buyer was ready to go. We did that at start of January 2024.We heard nothing, no even mention of Survey, until we pushed on 05/03/24,there was NO response. then the agent said they were arranging survey, under valued house by £100k, valued at standard 3 bed house. They got another survey arranged, this was then valued at £40k under. The Buyer should not have been allowed to view the property if they could NOT afford the property. I sent a message on 23/03/24 with drawing the property with them as they had wasted 4 months.. we had another offer from a different agent also in Dec but as we had accepted the offer from Scotts we went with them. Big mistake !!!

As a divorced father of two, they were able to cater for my situation and give the assistance needed to secure a property . I recommend them highly to anyone to rent or buy a property.

It took me roughly three months from viewing the property to moving in, Nick's professionalism and dedication is the key throughout the journey. You can't go wrong with Nick and Benham & Reeves, 5 stars.

16th Apr 2024 (4 days ago)I could write a book of good comments about Karen and her staff. It might be possible (but I doubt it) to find an agent in Southport as good. But you could certainly not find one better ! Enormous help was cheerfully and willingly provided to us before putting our (vacant) house on the market as it needed repairs doing and generally refreshing. Karen sourced and arranged all the workmen for us at very reasonable cost. Then the house sold at the full asking price within days of marketing commencing. Following sale, Paige has been in constant touch with the buyer, us and the respective solicitors to update everyone on the conveyancing situation. Faultless, personal, efficient service in every way and with a smile. True excellence and deserving of my highest commendation.
