I'm really not very happy. Myself and my partner went to a viewing at 14 kinnerton court last Tuesday. On Wednesday morning I received a call from I think Eleanor who wanted to talk about our application at kinnerton way. She told us the landlord liked us and offered us the place on a 12 month tenancy instead of 6 months and I told them I would talk to my partner and get back to them. I spoke to my partner and that afternoon I called back and told you we would be very happy to take that offer and move in who in response told me "that's fantastic". Now I called back today to ask what was going on with the property and you have told me that the landlord has actually gone with someone else. This has really screwed us over. Our current landlord is expecting us to be gone in a weeks time and our new jobs in Exeter are expecting us to be able to start in a weeks time which we can't since we're a 3 hour commute away. We are ready to move in on the 17th as we we're promised but now we've been screwed over. We are not happy about this.

Recently sold my property with Hunters. Originally it was on with another estate agents for quite sometime and it was becoming disheartening with "potential buyers" but nothing materialising.... after switching with Hunters I very quickly got a buyer.
Darron kept me in the loop through out and was very approachable. He made the process as stress free as possible.

Throughout, what turned out to be an extremely protracted process, the staff at Hunters couldn’t have been more patient and understanding. Kyra and Darren, worked tirelessly to get the sale over the line which was heavily delayed by the buyer and the buyers solicitors. The property had loads of interest and offers we’re on the table as soon as the ad went live which was down to the presentation of the sale on Rightmove. Using the 3D camera they showed the house in a very good light and we’re booking viewings by the dozen as soon as they could.

If you are looking for the most competitive estate agent with the best service look no further than Hunters Exeter. Buying your first house can be a very stressful experience and sometimes when things don't go to plan this can be very furastrating. But we were lucky to have our case taken on by Darron, and this gentleman worked tirelessly to make sure that we actually managed to end up buying our dream house. Any time that our lawyers and the vender's lawyers would drop the ball, Darron would be the link between the two making sure that they were promptly chased up. Having Darron on the team, felt like having a very experienced 3rd lawyer who would keep both parties' lawyers in check, and trust me when you buy your house, let alone your first house, you definitely need this level of proactivity. If we were to say the service provided was above and beyond it would not be enough praise to the work that was put in by Darron and his team. If you are looking to buy or sell a house, Hunters is the best and if you are lucky Darron will take on your case, and one day when we decide to sell our house, both my partner and I agree that we know who will ask to take care of such a task.

It truly is a shame Google does not allow for a 0 star review, as even 1 star is over-sufficient in regards to the services offered by the agency. Cold blooded, soul-sucking and insincere creautures that will find every opportuity possible to draw up to the last penny out of you. Companies like Hunters Exeter, is why I am losing hope in humanity as in the name of money I do not think there is something these people wouldn't do.

Do not rent here. The don't fix nothing in you house. I'm more than two years with all windows broken and 5 days without hot water. Last time I've been 6 months without hot water.

A terrible, very disappointing experience with Hunters Exeter and especially with the company director Antony. His poor management resulted in my 77 year old very poorly father losing the bungalow he so desperately needed. My father, and subsequently his buyer, have been left dangling for weeks. Lie upon lie from Antony has resulted in my father and his buyer now having to start from square one again. I found Anthony unprofessional and arrogant. I had heard about some of Hunters deplorable tactics but I certainly did not expect this level of deceit.
Out of respect Hunters, please, do not write a comment in response to this review. Your company simply are not sincere and any comment would anger our family only further.

I was not sure how the process works and had a range of different valuations and promises from a number of different estate agents. However, from day 1 I found Kyra and the team very professional honest and focused on getting me the best price possible with the marketing they offer. My partner and I bought our first home through Hunters in early 2018.
Highly recommended; everything went well, we were kept well informed throughout the process. Anthony and the rest of his team were always easy to contact, or returned my calls as soon as they could, and incredibly helpful when it came to the 101 questions a first time buyer has.
I would also highly recommend their conveyancing services. Similarly priced to others we looked into, but the level of service was exceptional. They never missed a weekly update phone call. Having access to their online portal, which provided us with progress reports and search information, told us when and how to complete documentation, was especially good.

Anthony and his team gave us great advice on marketing the property, held a successful open day and managed the process to completion with discretion, politeness and good humour as it wasn't all plain sailing. I have lived in South Texas USA over 25 years, and after some soul searching, decided to sell the family home in Ide Nr Exeter.
A home purchase or sale is a big lifetime event for most of us.
Working with Anthony's Hunters sales, and finally in combination with the Hunters legal team from across the Atlantic via phone, emails and online worked as though I was in Exeter.
I made a summer visit to tie up details for the sale, and the Hunters team did the rest. "Doing the rest" included reliable advice and honest contacts on the cleanup and preparation to show the house and property.
Again, we only buy and sell one or two homes in our lifetimes, and the high level of trust demonstrated by Anthony's team made the difference for me.
We launched the house for sale online etc. one Wednesday, showed it that Saturday, and had more than 5 written offers on Monday with more arriving.
The formal sale at an excellent value was moving within another week. From there, the process did not delay at all.
Wishing the new family all the best in their new home in the heart of the green hills of Devon.

Hunters managed the sale of my property at the start of 2016 and from the first point of contact through to completion they were absolutely faultless. Their customer service was outstanding with no call unanswered and no week that went by without some contact. I felt fully up to speed and supported by the whole Hunters 'family' and would highly recommend them. If in any doubt just look at a cross section of Hunters clients to see the quality of pictures they produce. I am in no doubt that this had a big impact on the sale of my property and am grateful for hunters experience in capturing the right images, even arranging a second trip to gain sunnier pics. Thanks!

All the staff at Hunters have been fabulous, I dealt mainly with Martyn at Hunters, he has been amazingly helpful when selling my property. I had it on the market with other estate agents for over 6 months, to no avail. As soon as Martyn at Hunters got it marketed, Martyn sold within 2 weeks, with no problems.
All through the selling process, Martyn would phone ever week, just to update us with how the sale through solicitors extra was going.
Overall I found Hunters, very professional, very helpful, and would highly recommend them if you are thinking of selling or renting your property.
