very happy with selling a house through Jacobs & Hunt. I felt that they had the best market knowledge and their local reputation is deserved. Easy to work with. Valuation well considered. I thought that the photographs of the house and garden were outstanding.

An excellent choice. We're local in Petersfield and the visits and showings were very well conducted with knowledgable agents. Great oversight from the key agent Mike Turner and Dan and Max shared cover day to day so someone was always available to talk in person.
We were very happy with the valuation, support for us, and the careful way they handled our sale, keeping all parties engaged.

Not the best. I felt a very negative tone in communication. I provided feedback, timeline and support to Mike, his response was to stop the tenancy agreement. In fairness he did agree to refund my deposit.
An example of a raised issue:
I asked for time to have my tenancy agreement reviewed this was part of response:
Just so that you are aware, we are unable by change anything on the Contract content, only personal details etc if they are incorrect. It is written by a Solicitor and is our standard Tenancy Agreement.
In my opinion anyone signing any contract should be able to ask questions and make proposals, this can be approved or declined. The contract I had was not correct, it showed an insufficient understanding of contracts.

Marc and the team were excellent throughout what was an otherwise stressful time. Always quick to respond, professional, and knowledgeable whenever I had any queries (, I wish I could say the same for my solicitors).
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jacobs and Hunt, and will definitely use them again if I ever need to in the future.

We were consulted every step of the way and provided with frequent updates in relation to viewings and potential buyers.
They understood the house and its semi-rural location and were able to secure a buyer that was right for the house - a place that had been our home for 22 years.
