Although I did not find one with them i must admit that i was very impressed with their services. Bourne Estate Agents in Petersfield have once again gone above and beyond to help with our house sales (x2). Having a tricky and drawn out time due to waiting on probate, the process took nearly a year to complete yet through that time Rob and Josh have been absolute stars, providing comfort and confidence when times were tricky and genuinely, really listening. I never would have thought that I would get to the end of a process of house buying and look on our estate agents as friends - but that is how fantastic Rob and Josh were.
They also took over with the communication on our second sale when another branch failed to meet the exceptional high standards they work to, and they immediately helped put our minds at rest over issues there too.

I think like a lot of people, I'm routinely disappointed with the level of customer service, communication and general lack of care and attention most Estate Agents routinely show their customers. I can safely say that Bourne Estate Agents Petersfield bucks this trend, and then some. Their communication and response time was fantastic - making the whole (usually very stressful) process as painless as possible for my family. Everyone was warm and welcoming, and it really does feel that the team in the office genuinely care about your experience and making the process as clear and simple as possible. All I can say is thank you for getting the typically poor level of 'British' customer service (poor), right. Exceptional - I highly recommend.

Having sold our home but had not found our next one (a stressful position), we required a rental for the first time ever. Sceptical of the process given we also had pets, and what to expect generally, the great support provided by the Petersfield team (particularly Alice and also Chris) in viewing and finalising a tenancy was most welcome. Yes they get sales but they can not look after a property. From experience our house had mould growing from all corners from poor paint jobs and insulation and construction. The windows were not double glazed and were dripping with water. The amount of times I was sick from the mould growing was ridiculous. They would not do anything to fix it and we did not want to get evicted to we could not complain openly. We tried asking but nothing happened. Would recommend anyone but borne. Please don’t make the same mistake as we did.
I understand it just might be this branch and not all places but if you are in the Petersfield area JUST DONT USE BORNE

Matthew Ware is the Property Manager for the property we have rented through Bourne for nearly two years now. I have been extremely impressed with the service we have received. Matthew always responds in a timely fashion and he actually gets things done! Other tenants locally had complained endlessly about the sad state of the rotary washing lines - and nothing happened. One email to Matthew and ten days later, new washing lines.
However, what particularly impresses me is that when things don't go according to plan, he doesn't go into hiding, he keeps me informed of what is happening which is so important and so welcome.
I have spent many years as both a tenant and a landlord and would welcome Matthew whichever side of the fence I happened to be on.

We recently purchased our house from a couple who were using Bourne Estate agents. So I can only comment about the interaction I had with their back office client manager Haley Prescott at their Farnham office.
We had a pretty tight time-frame for purchase and we suffered (as many do) from a series of breakdown of communications between our and the vendors solicitors.
Haley quickly built a rapport and was great at keeping in touch with updates. She worked tirelessly with us to ensure that any bumps were smoothed out. She would contact each of the solicitors and even relay emails and messages so that we weren't held up. We successfully completed our move in time for the kids to start school which was extremely important to us.
I can't speak highly enough of our experience and I would thoroughly recommend working with Haley and the Bourne team in general. I know that the vendors were also very pleased with the service from Bourne.

My partner and I made the move to Guildford about a year ago, and we've been with Bourne since the start. We've stayed in the same property this entire time, and while due to wear-and-tear some problems have arisen, honest reporting of faults has gone a long way. They've never made us feel bad that something has broken or needed replacing, and they've never refused to fix something. They have a wide range of engineers and technicians who have always been very friendly to chat to, who will take the time to explain why something has broken, and the estate agent themselves are prompt and professional when faults occur.

I used Bourne (ex-Keats) for rental management between 2014-7 and subsequently for sale in 2017.
During 2014-7, the rental management team reported on issues and provided timely maintenance on the rented property. In addition, they provided an excellent shield of protection against an unreasonable residental association manager who kept haunting landlords and tenants like begrudged ghosts.
After the tenants have moved out in March 2017, Steven started organizing the refurbishment, providing valuable advice on restoring the flat's condition economically. The works were finished within a reasonable amount of time and cost. The works, together with the enthusiasm of Terry, attracted a total of four offers (see below).
After the April offer being pulled out in June, I considered going back to letting the flat out. However, Steven advised me that I should sell as I should get out before prices drop further. This proved to be the right call (see below).
Being aware of the impact of the difficult London market, I listened to Terry's advice to drop the asking price by 10%, which attracted a new offer spontaneously. Two subsequent offers came in after that.
The most challenging part of the sale was a leak during the surveyor's visit. Terry kept the deal alive by talking up the flat to the buyers in-depth.
Another challenge was the buyers' solicitor's mixed non-chalant and yet scouring approach. Both Terry, Steve and I pushed the buyers' solicitor constantly to keep the complicated conveyancing moving. All of us demonstrated great mental reserve to pester the buyer's solicitor relentlessly for three months until exchange.
Eventually the contracts were exchanged in October, one week before the Bank of England increased the interest rate for the first time in a decade. Steve's advice proved to be invaluable.
I certainly think that Bourne is not the sweet-talking kind of agent. Instead they offer a pragmatic service at a reasonable commission.
I admit that the achieved sale price was a bit flat, but Bourne acted in my interests by recommending the pragmatic way forward because had I dragged on, the asking price would have dropped further.
In conclusion, this served as a good template for me to follow for future property rentals & transactions.
