Unfortunately I have very few nice things to say. They are very good at selling/renting you a property, but that's where it ends. If they are the ones managing a property you are renting or you own, best of luck. We moved into a dirty property that was not properly cleaned, with a broken shower they didn't bother to fix at any point during our tenancy, and the complete wrong information about what utilities the landlord was using (we entered into an 18-month broadband contract to then find out the landlord still had Wifi in the property, and Apple TV). The property was so badly cleaned that we couldn't move in until they organised a cleaning, and even then we paid £300 extra to clean the carpets and mattresses. I thought other agencies in the area were bad, but John D Wood are by far the worst, as there is zero communication between them and the landlord or delineation between what they are responsible for and what the landlord is responsible for. Really amateur and unprofessional behaviour. Won't go to them when looking for a new property in Parsons Green. I know there's a high likelihood they will reply trying to make excuses, but please disregard these.

I was lucky enough to deal with Simon in lettings at John D Wood. Whilst trying to find a new flat I must have met with 7+ lettings agents, Simon was by a huge margin the best I met. He worked to my timetable but was pro-active in reaching out and not afraid to hold me accountable to soft deadlines we had agreed on but the most impressive part from this experience has been how well he knew the properties he showed me. We drove round all the properties in one afternoon he felt were suitable for me, asked what I did in my spare time (which at the time I thought was just to make conversation) and proposed properties to me that not only fit my requirements for a property but also had researched amenities nearby that he’d learned would be important to me, showed me photos of good gyms and parks nearby each property and could make great recommendations for restaurants and bars. It felt like we were working together to find a suitable flat rather than just trying to push me to let through him. Unfortunately due to some bad luck previously on the search I was under a serious time crunch so ended up going with another flat which I liked as it was important I signed on something ASAP, but I would have loved to have given Simon my business just because of how impressed I was at the experience working with him and would be happy to recommend him to anyone who is looking

Whilst we had c.30 viewings in the first few weeks, the ultimate buyer of our property was sourced from their marketing of another property near ours, and a last minute viewing was decided upon when the buyers stated they wanted a property more similar to our own. This is only possible when you have a good volume of properties in a local area and an informed team. Given this fact, their professional conduct and responsive approach I would recommend them to anyone selling in the Parsons Green/Putney Bridge area.

Quinton Hutton did a killer job selling our house! He is the man you want on your team for a property sale. He knew the landscape of homes for sale around us, advised well, and got to know the eventual buyer (a tricky one!) very well so as to facilitate the sale going through. And this was all happening as the country went into lockdown due to Corona! Sellers will also appreciate how proactive and hands on Quinton was - when the buyer came in last minute to say they wanted one of gutters cleaned before it was due to rain the next day (and three days before exchange!) Quinton arrived at our home, fully masked and gloved to climb out our window and CLEAN THE GUTTER HIMSELF!! This was just as lockdown was easing and we knew there were few other solutions. Quinton not only wouldn't let this stand in the way of the exchange taking place, but also was ready, willing and able to roll up his sleeves and get the job done himself. He similarly saved the day on the day of buyer when the buyer called in another last minute demand - Quinton made it happen, using his influencing skills to save the deal. The Parsons Green John D Wood office was led at the time by Alexander Leschalles, who formed a super team with Quinton. The two of them worked so well together. Alex knew the market incredibly well, so was able to give us consistently good advice and guidance. I also saw how he led the entire office so smoothly. All of his team told me how much they loved him as their boss!

I recently purchased a house from John D Wood Fulham, and the team there were great! Our agent, Emma Bruce, was infinitely patient during our search, and once the purchase process was underway, she was very responsive throughout the process (even returning calls and email while skiing in the alps!). She provided us with timely and sound advice and also gave us some great contacts when we needed them (such as our architect who we are now using). Most importantly, I found the team there to have very high standards of integrity and honesty which were really important to me.
