Unfortunately, my friend and his wife had to move into a nursing home, which required their house to be sold urgently. John and his team understood the situation, and gave us a good valuation to work with. Logistically there were some issues at my end, but the right buyer was found, relatively quickly. It was third time lucky with JD and all we can say is WOW what an exceptional estate agent this is! Fantastic service from start to finish.
We very recently sold our flat in South Croydon and chose to use John Dallas as they're a local, family run agent based just down the road.

We bought our first property through John Dallas recently and could not be happier - with either the house or the service received. We dealt mainly with Kasia and Franco who were a delight after some of the other agents we came across on our property search. All our questions were fed back to the vendors and responded to immediately and the level of service we received was second to none. I cannot recommend the company highly enough... We do not intend to sell for many many years, but if and when the time comes we will be using John Dallas!

I am a Licensed Conveyancer and head of residential conveyancing at ASL Solicitors in Rochdale. I have dealt with a lot of estate agents over the years but found Paul Bronziet to be extremely efficient and helpful. I wish more agents were as friendly and pro-active as he has been. Would recommend them if you are selling a property as they will keep chasing the seller's solicitor for updates.

We have both bought and sold through John Dallas and can highly recommend.
From a buyers perspective I can only say that there is a reason we didn't consider anyone else when it came time to sell our house.
From a sellers perspective Franco and John had 6 viewings, 2 offers and a sale agreed within 6 days of us putting it on the market. The majority of the viewings being the result of local knowledge. They were open and honest about the price we could likely achieve and did not make us any false promises. With the photos being done by John himself it meant we had listed within a day of deciding to go for it. His photographs are of a high standard and is happy to take photos of different angles we wanted.
Communication with Franco was prompt and of a high standard and we have zero complaints. He was always happy to answer questions and during a renegotiation he kept things moving and kept us informed, meaning nothing got delayed.
John, by being proactive, identified an issue further up the chain which would have significantly impacted our completion, something the buyers of that house were unaware. Through this we were able to resolve the issue and agree a completion date that worked for everyone.
Overall, we would happily buy from and sell through John Dallas again and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to sell.

I'm very happy with my experience of using John Dallas to sell my flat earlier this year. Franco was very friendly and informative at our first meeting and continued to offer honest, realistic advice throughout the process - very useful for a first-time seller. JD actually gave the lowest valuation of four local estate agents I approached but I chose them as I thought they were more likely to achieve a sale. John was also friendly when he visited with Franco to take measurements and Kasia kept me up to date with any interest/offers. They were also proactive in giving me the advice I didn't want to hear - that the market was sluggish and I might need to reduce my price to generate more interest. However, I trusted them and shortly after, managed to achieve a sale! Thanks very much!

Gavin was our agent and you couldn't ask for a nicer guy to sell your house but most importantly he was constantly on the ball, chasing and taking the stress away from us.
Word to the wise, stay away from the chains, they just want to sell you loads of add-on's , These guys only want to sell your house and they will ....very quickly!

Estate agents in general don't have a very good reputation in the property business. If however, there is one, who makes a good case for being fair, honest, straight forward and reliable it has to be John Dallas.
I have used them on two occasions and both times John and his team were exactly what you'd expect of a good estate agent. Communication was clear, the team is always reachable, professional and they don't dress up any situation which I personally really appreciate.
They also have some great experience in the team and can help you deal with an already stressful buying/selling process that much more efficiently !

We contacted all the local estate agents in the Croydon area before selling our property on Rymer road. To be frank I was expecting the usual estate agency sales chat and had prepared myself for this. Then I spoke to Gavin from John Dallas and I was somewhat surprised by his honest, straight forward and professional approach hence we decided to sell our house through John Dallas.
We marketed the property at £245k and we eventually received an offer of £275k through John Dallas organising an open day and negotioning and liasing with two sellers who bid each other up.
Due to the high sale price £30k more than comparable properties the valuer was looking to not value the property at it's purchase price. John Dallas dealt with this professionally as they did over negotiating an issue with the evetual buyer regarding dampness.
The sale was smooth from offer to completion due to the communication provided by John Dallas and I would recommend them to any seller.
