Beautiful and professional service I got though I did not expect less as recommended.
Also the process of viewing,screening and getting the property was top notch and with no bias and I generally loved the support of few of the staff I met directly from Rugile to Susan and Nicholas.. you all was great and very professional and even after moving in .. you still wanted to be sure all was okay settling in..

If I could give 6 stars in a review I’d do it with no hesitation. The staff at Martin &co has helped me and my husband rent a one bedroom apartment in south Croydon in an area we have been looking into for a long time (near Lloyds park).
Contacts have been very quick, smooth and led to a viewing just after a couple of days. Ru (Rugile) very kindly showed me the flat, which was immaculate and a good size, with balcony and parking. She replied to all my questions with professionalism and a smile, and continued to do so by email in the next few days.
What I was particularly impressed by was the fast and easy referencing process. At my last flat it took me a month, countless emails and a lot of stress. With Susan and Martin &co just a couple of days and all online in a portal.
We couldn’t believe when we signed the contract and got our keys that the flat was really ours already!
We are enjoying it a lot, it’s quiet and neighbours very friendly and we couldn’t be happier. Whenever we have a question they or the landlord reply immediately so we hope we will stay in this flat for a long time!
Don’t hesitate to use Martin and Co for your next rent/purchase.

the worst estate agent to contact when looking to rent, called 4 days in a row to inquire about viewing properties and all 4 days no one was available and was ask to leave name and number and someone would call back. Does anyone work there?

Subject: Complaint Regarding Staff Behavior - Urgent Attention Required
Dear Admin,
I am writing to formally lodge a complaint about the unacceptable behavior exhibited by two of your staff members, which occurred during a recent interaction with me and my family…
On 24/08/2024.. I was involved in a situation with a male staff member, whom I believe is named Matt, and a female staff member with long red hair. This encounter left me feeling intimidated, bullied, and subjected to what I believe were racist remarks. Additionally, their actions caused my children to become extremely distressed to the point where they were crying and screaming. I had to seek refuge at a friend's house to calm them down, which was both unnecessary and deeply upsetting.
Here is a summary of what occurred:
1….. Accusations and Aggressive Behaviour:
The female staff member accused my husband of bumping into her colleague's car…. When I asked for evidence.. she changed her story and then abruptly left the scene when I started to question her… This was extremely unprofessional and confusing.
2. Racist and Offensive Language.. The male staff member, Matt, confronted me in an aggressive manner… He used foul language in front of my children, despite my request for him to refrain from swearing. He then made a remark that I found to be racist and deeply offensive, stating, "Oh, people like you..." When I asked for clarification, he laughed and continued to use derogatory language, calling me a "crazy woman."
This behavior is not only unprofessional but also discriminatory. It is deeply concerning that your staff would treat a customer in this manner, especially in front of children. I believe it is crucial that Martin & Co. addresses this issue immediately to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future.
I would appreciate a prompt investigation into this matter and a response detailing the actions that will be taken to address the behavior of these staff members.

Paul and his team quickly found a tenant for me who remained for many years. They are an honest and friendly, with fair Landlord fees. I am returning to them this summer to find my next tenant and would happily recommend them.

This review is long overdue as my family and I have happily moved into our new home in early May.
The Martin & Co Croydon team, especially Ru have been fabulous throughout our journey in our search for a new home.
I worked with Ru for over a year and a half searching for a property that would suit my family’s needs and she exceeded even our expectations with the property we’re in now, and we couldn’t be more pleased with everything.

Awful agents.
I have enquired about several properties and they have never come back to me.
Some of those properties have been reduced after enquiring and have been on the market for weeks, so please don’t tell me they have been let.
There is one in particular I enquired at it’s original price, today I have an email it has been reduced.
Good luck to the landlord, you have already lost money.

Martin & co Croydon have provided me with excellent customer service, I highly recommend them . They are very professional and have helped me find a home very Quickly. One of the letting negotiators, Rugile Norbutaite, provided great customer service, communicated very effectively and in a timely manner and was very professional and helpful during the process of me finding a home.

Martin and Co certainly displayed resilience and doggedness in our house sale, as it took three attempts to reach completion. We had two buyers drop out, and whilst this does lead me to question their vetting of buyer's seriousness, they always managed to find another buyer in under a week - which was seriously impressive. I wouldn't hesitate to use them for my next home sale.

A massive thank-you to Martin & Co for helping us find our 1st home together as a couple. An extremely good experience despite a few issues with an initial property acceptance Ru & Sue were there to answer all our questions, were extremely patient and we ended up in an even better place than the initial agreed upon property.
Would highly recommend due to the friendliness, helpfulness and professionalism of the staff!
