Cannot recommend Kallars highly enough.
A huge thank you in particular to Chris, Jordan Damien and Oleksandr whose continuous and unrelenting support carried us through the entire process of selling our house. The market has been tough and we went through plenty of ups and downs, but Chris and the team kept the momentum going and consistently brought viewings through the door.
The biggest thing I want to say is this: Kallars is by far the number one estate agent in the area. We actually tried switching to another agent at one point, and it became 100% clear that Kallars genuinely knows the local market and has the buyer contacts that nobody else does. If you’re thinking of selling your house in this area, go with Kallars and trust them to do the job.

Everyone there has been an absolute pleasure to deal with, from the initial viewing, to putting me in touch with a brilliant mortgage broker (Tessa D'Souza Kanabar of Mortgage Experience) and a brilliant solicitor (Ratika Mal of Davisons Law) they did everything possible to assist me and pilot the deal through from beginning to completion to aftercare. They were so on the ball and efficient that I was moving into the property considerably before I'd expected to. When I encountered a problem with the property after purchase, they sprang into action immediately and put it right very quickly. They are an excellent group of professionals who know their business and go the extra mile to support their clients. Everyone I dealt with behaved with great professionalism and gentility - not as common a combination as one would hope in this day and age!

We recently completed our sale with Kallars and wanted to share our experience. We had outgrown our two-bedroom flat in Deptford and decided it was time to move to something bigger. The market wasn’t great at the time, and we tried multiple agencies and different set-ups, but Kallars proved to be the best-performing option.
Once our buyer was secured, Chris handled our sale and kept us well informed throughout. It was a long and complicated process due to the length of the chain and other factors, but Chris was always reassuring and helped us maintain our peace of mind. He was honest throughout and never shied away from delivering difficult news when needed, which we really appreciated.
Kallars is, in our opinion, the best agency covering Deptford and New Cross. They are truly local, know their clients well, and provide excellent service. We would definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

I was so impressed with the sales team at Kallars. I initially went with another cheaper agency and really regretted it.
Chris and his team literally came to my rescue! As soon as I met them, I thought finally, professional, competent, polite, clever people.

We rented a flat with Kallars for 5 years, and our experience with our property manager Stephanie by name was horrible, the way she treated us during our tenancy was really bad , by increasing our rent a very year and giving us 2 months notice when my partner is very sick, even though throughout our tenancy we haven't owe them a penny. Her colleague even went inside our flat without our permission when we're not around, so Privacy was taken away from us even though we're paying them. and up till now she's still with some part of our deposit

We arranged a viewing for a property advertised by Kallars on Penge Road — twice. The first appointment was at 5:30 pm. At 5:20, while we were already en route, we received a call saying the realtor had just left and the viewing was cancelled.
We gave them the benefit of the doubt and rescheduled for the same property a few days later. Today, we informed them we would be 10 minutes late, and again, we were told the realtor couldn't wait, so the viewing was cancelled.
We travelled from Cambridge to London twice, took time off work, and spent a considerable amount of money on train fares and transport. The lack of respect for our time, effort, and budget is simply unacceptable.
This is the worst experience we've had with any agency. I strongly advise others to avoid dealing with this level of disorganisation and disregard for clients.

When I decided to sell the property as I moved out of London, I got in touch with him again as I had been thoroughly impressed by his professionalism and efficiency in dealing with the sollicitors and other stakeholders of the transaction. Once again, his performance was stellar and he brought a lot of reassurance that the transaction would come through as it did - He did a thorough research of the area to build up the pricing and demonstrated a good understanding of the property as he found reliable buyers who valued its characteristics. Stephanie and Thomas helped us solve a situation with our lease, negotiating with the landlord and helping us have a smoother move out period.
Stephanie has also been excellent at communicating with us throughout the period she was our property manager - for example when the washing machine broke we had a new one in a week! (Kallars has a great online portal for reporting.)
We also had the pleasure of meeting Gábor Rekita, who managed the viewings for new tenants. He found us a replacement tenant within a few block bookings and communicated with us so well about his viewing times and our availability. We really appreciated his style and personability.
A much better experience all round at using Kallars, we recommend them over Keatons in Deptford from our experience!

We had a great experience with our principal agent, Thomas, who was a reassuring and friendly guide when buying our first home. He clearly cared about the sellers and wouldn’t entertain an obnoxious offer, but was also open to negotiation and handled the various bumps along the road in a professional and constructive manner. Tope and Jvon were also friendly and nice to deal with, although we had much briefer interactions with them. Craig, however, could perhaps operate with a little more finesse and patience, especially with first time buyers. Horrific experience. Neither the landlord nor Kallars did anything during 6 years of renting via them. Every issue we raised was closed as 'resolved by landlord' who did nothing and in the end we had to move out as the landlord was theretening with eviction as we refuse to sign new contract due to landlord breaking fencing laws with the neighbours. Agency kept landlords side all the way. Both lied in communication, changing story, making excuses, horrific. Stay away from these people.

I rented with kallars for several years… AVOID. Firstly, there’s someone there called Thomas who is one of the rudest humans I’ve ever dealt with. He’s just that type of horrible-entitled that will make your blood boil.
Secondly, Every time it’s been time to renew the contract, we have gone through at least a week of Kallars messing with us saying “the landlord” wanted X, Y or Z *immediately* in order to renew the contract, and every time we were on the verge of getting booted out with all our furniture within a day or two. Every contract renewal, this character Thomas had me in literal floods of tears at least two or three times. Eventually Thomas made it: we were renewing the contract, left the flat for a few days while they repainted the walls, and the day before we were due to come back in, Thomas told us “the landlord” had someone else and we had lost the flat. (We were really good tenants btw)… Literally the day before.
Thomas avoided me on the phone for a good month after that, and it took him another few weeks of lying out of his a** to send me the deposit.
Like I said… AVOID. At least as long as Thomas works there.

Not recommended. I was about to complete a purchase in a chain when the seller pulled out at the last moment. Infant even went with their recommended solicitors. Since then I have dropped a couple of follow up emails to understand the reasoning but no one bothered to respond to me.
Craig -> Let me remind you that we spoke before the seller pulled out and you assured me that I should not be looking for alternative properties and the exchange can happen by 10 July. After the chain was broken I was informed by Ellie over the phone. I had dropped 2 emails to Ellie one on 12th July and a reminder on 15th July seeking reasons for the last min decision by the sellers. I am still awaiting response on those emails. So I would politely request you to check your facts and work for the buyers as well especially when they had already made expenses towards a deal. Not to mention that Kallars also suggested that we should go with the solicitors of their choice as the entire chain was under Kallars and one solicitors. We did exactly as you suggested.

They seem to be professional to me, email confirmation, after viewing survey, polite through the process.
My experience with them wasn't great but understandable. The property was popular so maybe people have lots of questions which caused a long delay.
When I arrived there on time, there were 3 couples in a queue, and the agency took them one by one. Predicting that this could take a while, I left after 5 minutes and got a call ~30 minutes later asking where I was.
There was a survey the next day showing that they look for improvement. So the pre-sale and post-sale are quite customer friendly.

SCAM - AVOID THIS AGENCY - SCAM
Absolutely terrible agency, don’t rent with them, the team is made up by a bunch of incompetent “agents”.
When we were first introduced to the house the agent “nelson” advertised that the house had a dishwasher, we later found out that there was no dishwasher but it actually was a dryer (broken on top of it). The agency also had no idea of how the heating system of the house was working and to find out we had to request a technician to come on site during the pandemic. More than once the agent called Gabriele did not reply to our emails regarding various matters or made us wait ages (too busy working from home i guess), especially during the last days of our tenancy, ignoring us, and providing the worst customer service i have ever seen in my entire life. If this was not enough we were given terrible bed bases worth at best 15£ each, which broke down by the third month of our tenancy, upon reporting this we were suggested to buy new ones on our expenses, we did not do that and just repaired them with some tape (believe it or not, the tape was holding it together better than before) but still we were charged 100£ for just one base from our deposit. More deductions came trough for other ridiculous things but i will not get too deep into the details. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID.

I was show around the flat by Nelsson Poku who was very knowledgeable about the property and the surrounding area. He was very welcoming and professional. During the process of signing for the flat, nothing was ever too much trouble and he even gave me a second tour via FaceTime! From the moment Chris came to view my property and discuss my options,etc...I felt this was a proffesional set up and I wasnt wrong.
The viewings were carried out on time, clear communications at all times and the support I received from Craig and the team was reassuring and calming! I had issues with Solicitors and often felt very close to withdrawing the sale but, with the expertise and guidance from Kallars, i got through those very difficult, tiring times.

Terrible experience. Me and my friend weren't able to stay at a property of theirs due to false information that was given to us that came to light after signing the contract. Their was no confirmation is cancellation, no body was informed about the cancellation therefore external companies were still getting ready for us to move in as they were not told anything. Very bad customer service, I called many times and was told I would recieve a call back but never did. If we did end up moving in and their service was this bad, I would've regretted moving there.

Disappointed to say the least, unreliable at communication complete disregard due to a contract of guarantors proposed which was false when asked multiple times to have a response to get us to rent the property to later find out it wasn't true, no receipt, no clear cancellation, third parties continued to contact myself and flatmate assuming we had moved in as Kallars had not completely shut down anything leaving our private information afloat. Multiple times call backs were arranged and never occurred.
When I could finally speak to after weeks of being contracted by third parties Manager Tom came across arrogant and condescending. If the communication wasn't so poor none of this would be an issue in the first place and sorted many weeks ago.
However Nelsson had been of great help during the start of the process and was the only one who seemed to want to sort this issue many thanks to him.

We had an excellent experience with Kallars, particularly Chris Whitfield and Craig Cassidy. Having to sell and buy properties throughout the COVID-19 situation and having a number of buyers drop out, Chris excelled in keeping the viewings coming at very short notice and maintained the 'fragile' chain. Craig supported us throughout the final stages of the purchase...and we got there in the end. Couldn't recommend enough.

HORRIBLE! Avoid them. We rented a flat from them and everything was so dirty, the washing machine was broken, boiler, oven, everything was broken, when we just moved. We didnt have time to check the property, but there were terrible conditions. In the contract it said that everything gonna be professionally cleaned before we moved, but it wasnt like that. I do NOT RECOMMEND! Stuff was ok, but it doesnt cancel the conditions and dismissive attitude towards what they sell and how. All their flat are horrible, i saw some of them after and talked to other tenants, the same situation.

What can I say about Kallars Estate Agents in Deptford, specifically Nelson and Branch Manager Thomas who work there. Both of them performed a near on miracle in finding us tenants leading up to these incredibly testing and troubling times we as a country are going through. Thomas's dedication, professionlism and friendly approach is astonishing. He really is a Super Hero from another planet! Nelson was calm, professional at all times and a pleasure to work with as well. One thing is for certain Kallars have me as a client for life and Thomas is an asset and credit to Kallars and an example of what an Estate Agent should be. Kallars have taken over the management of my rental property in Deptford. They are totally professional and proactive. Repairs were needed which they arranged quickly and at reasonable cost. It was then let almost the second it was ready at a very good market rate.
They are fast at communicating and with their improved automated system I was kept informed of every viewing and able to sign all the paperwork and handle transactions remotely.
If it hadn’t been for Kallars I would have sold the flat. As an overseas landlord it had become too complicated for me to handle the rental and repairs etc but now I can relax and let Kallar’s, specifically Thomas and his team, get on with it for me. Peace of mind is worth every penny! Thanks guys!

If I were you, I would avoid Kallars at all costs. I've told anybody looking for a place to live to not go near them with a 10ft bargepole. They are the most unprofessional and disorganised lettings agent I've ever dealt with. Lots of pressure, monthly inspections, they will try and trick you into allowing contractors around to fix structural issues (such as roofing problems) but it'll be the landlord instead trying to come over for an unannounced inspection. I felt no trust from this organisation and they will not leave you alone or allow you to relax regardless of how good of a tenant you are. Honestly, AVOID!

Unreliable and Incompetent at Communication
Upon our initial viewing being cancelled by email in extremely blunt terms, we were offered to view another property on the day. From the outset the agent very adamantly misinformed us about the available move in date, which was an enormous inconvenience. Regardless, just a couple days later we made a 3 hour journey to return to the property for a second viewing and make our offer. At the viewing, the agent consulted his colleague and told us to our faces that we had secured the property. For the following three days we phoned Kallars repeatedly in attempt to chase up the tenancy forms that were promised would be sent to us. It wasn’t until days later, upon contacting them again ourselves, that we were informed that the verbal contract was a misunderstanding and it had been let days ago to another group. The landlord was never consulted before they confirmed the flat was ours. They also claimed to have believed that we were the group they had let the property to (despite having contacted me to confirm the viewing, and thus surely realising we had different names/contact details to said tenants?). Later I was informed that the employee who assured us we had secured the property was still in training and had been with Kallars for less than a month. I argued that it was not responsible to let an unqualified agent conduct a viewing and confirmation unaccompanied by a senior employee. Since this absurd ‘misunderstanding’ the agency have been contacting me despite my refusal of their services, and seem to have conducted fake google reviews through dummy accounts to counteract the negative reviews from genuine clients.
I strongly recommend avoiding this agency, especially to local students who might be more vulnerable to being exploited, like myself and my flat mates were.

From our expression of interest in the property, Jay was available and patient answering any question to ensure we were comfortable with the purchase. A particular additional shout out to Craig Cassidy as Operations Director who continues to promptly handle BAU queries with a sense of urgency and ownership. We recently rented a flat from Kallars. Thomas and others are hardworking and do their best as per the tenants. Had some difficulty in communicating due to holiday season however the delay was also somehow due to delay from the landlord side. But now procedures are in place to contact landlord's company directly for any disrepair, and the landlord's company is also very good in terms of prompt response and helping tenants out with the disrepair issues. Overall, both the landlord's company and Kallars are very competent and helpful towards tenants.

Very unprofessional and lack any honor and dignity. Have failed to communicate to us throughout the process. Were not able to deliver what I wrote on the offer form and when you ask why has the work not been done they keep trying to avert the topic and rush you to move into a substandard property. Do not give the tenants their due rights at all. After sending repeated emails, still do not get back to me. Any decent human being would expect some integrity and honesty from someone you do business with but these guys are a real sham operation. The fact that they only have one branch says it all really. They will never be on the same level as the top brands like Haart, KFH etc. Simply because they do not have value for customer service. If you want honesty DO NOT go with these guys.

We were four students searching for a sharing house and we decided to ask to Kallars. From the beginning all the situation was really confused. The first day that they call us they said that our offer was declined by the landlord because another group of people put a major offer. So we countered for another offer. It was like an auction, and I think that it is not at all professional. From one day before entering in the house they said that our house was going to an another group of people. So we basically paid the fees of the agency to have respect and a service of support, but they didn't give us at all and they just left us on the road basically. Personally, I don't recommend at all this agency.

I'm so happy with the service we have been provided by Kallars Deptford. Thomas and Laura in particular have been absolutely wonderful every step of the way.
Thomas showed us around our flat and was so helpful and considerate during our process of making an offer. He kept me updated at every possible interval until the offer was accepted, and then Laura became a point of contact for us during the move. They got a handyman to us the day after we raised some minor issues, and the handymen were so polite and efficient - all issues were sorted within 3 days of us raising them.
Since then, I email Laura with any questions, and she always gets back to me quickly and is a pleasure to deal with!
Overall very happy in our new flat thanks to them.
