Selling your home can be a stressful experience not to mention costly and therefore we wanted the most professional team to help support us through this process. Knight Frank have dedicated people / a team for each area of the sale process, from pulling the property information together, to ensuring you are happy with everything before your property goes live on line. They inform you of viewings and have their own team of people who guide potential purchasers around your property. These people are throughly briefed beforehand and are able to answer most of the purchaser's questions. Once you receive an offer on your property, the next group of professionals play they part in the process. At this stage, our point of contact was Giselle who was an absolute genius in keeping everything ticking along, even when there was a blip with the buyer's solicitor, Giselle was there to keep everything moving forward. The whole team is headed up by Luke Pender-Cudlip, a consummate professional, who has a vast knowledge and experience in this field, and someone you can depend on to get the job done. The communication throughout was excellent via both email and telephone calls so we were kept fully up to speed of how the transaction was progressing throughout. Thanks team."

We had a fantastic experience with Knight Frank Sherborne after what was a dreadful experience with a rival firm (no comparison though) called Fox Grant. Simon Barker could not have been more professional and responsive during our entire experience with what was a very tricky/difficult purchase. Once we had our offer accepted we were then introduced to Giselle Holman who time and time again went way above the call of duty to make sure our purchase got over the line. I retained Knight Frank's Sherborne office for an out-of-the-ordinary and challenging sale: a serenely beautiful 700+ year-old manor house which is an architectural gem and steeped in history but in need of plenty of investment and TLC - and a definitely not a redevelopment project for the faint-hearted. So by no means an armchair deal. In the event, the sale attracted a lot of publicity and buyer interest, which KF were able to convert into a cash sale at above guide price.
From the word go I felt myself to be in extremely capable hands with Luke Pender-Cudlip and his team. He showed considerable judgement in his approach to valuation and sale tactics, was always available to handle queries and address issues as they arose, and kept me continuously informed throughout the process.
It was a pleasure to deal with KF Sherborne from start to finish; a masterclass in client handling and project management skills; and a classic demonstration of how a high-end estate agent can add value in such a transaction.

I am the seller of the property through Knight Frank (KF), Sherborne, that Paula Lester, our buyer, has left a review on a month ago. I wholeheartedly confirm and fully support all that Paula has written. The whole of the team at KF are indeed a totally professional, get it done, nothing too much trouble team. We had been let down by a previous buyer due to Brexit, and hence had been on KF's books at Sherborne some time. Throughout, led by the straight talking Simon Baker, there was not the slightest sign of him or his team relaxing their drive to get our property sold.
Vitally for us KF's has a highly capable London financial team, without whom, Mark Russell in particular, the progression from Offer to Completion in 6 weeks would not have been possible. Possibly the sale would not have been possible, as there were complex part mortgages involved. KF therefore have a financial capability that I doubt many other estate agents can offer. An excellent team, a sterling performance all round and Mary and I are very grateful indeed to them all.

My uncle died and had nominated me (his NOK) as one of three executors of his Will, together with his solicitor and a friend. Turned out to be a lot of work, but selling his house was probably the easiest bit, thanks to Knight Frank.
Simon gave a really personal and very professional service and his advice proved correct. The brochure KF produced was stunningly good, brought out the best of the property: we had cash offers within hours!

When we decided to place our house for sale with an Estate Agent we were not considering Knight Frank as we thought they would only be interested in selling properties over the £1 million mark. How wrong we were. Some friends, in our village, recommended them to us and when we contacted them we were told that much of their property sales were in a much lower price range and they would be very pleased to ask Simon Barker to come and give us a valuation.
Simon arrived and, from the moment he walked through the front door, we were impressed. He was very confident, knowledgeable of the market we would be selling in and straight talking – no flannel, just saying it as it was. We had already seen two other Estate Agents at our property but neither had filled us with any confidence – they had just churned out the usual ‘Estate Agent’ jargon so Simon was a refreshing surprise. He gave us a valuation, which was exactly the same as the other two Agents, and Knight Frank’s fees were also in line so we had no hesitation whatsoever in appointing Simon and his branch of Knight Frank in Sherborne to sell our property for us.
The team in the office at Knight Frank in Sherborne were a joy to deal with – organised, efficient and helpful and they put together a brochure for us in what seemed like no time at all. Our house was launched on the market and almost immediately we had several viewings booked into our diary. What really impressed us was that each of these appointments were for clients who were in a position to proceed with a purchase if they thought our property was right for them. Within three days we had been offered the full asking price by two of Knight Frank’s clients.
As with all property sales, there are ups and downs and anxious moments. Here Simon’s confidence and years of experience ensured that the selling process stayed on course and that we reached our goal of exchanging on our house sale with the minimum of fuss.

Having recently sold and purchased within a relatively short period of time I have been delighted to receive extremely effective advice and support from both Luke Pender-Cudlip and Simon Barker. The benefit of their joint wealth of experience, very effective advice, support and sense of humour made the whole procedure not nearly as traumatic as might have been expected.

Luke Pender-Cudlip visited Millfield School to give a presentation on careers in the property industry. The presentation was well-attended by both pupils and staff, and it was fascinating to learn about the corporate culture at Knight Frank and the benefits that such an employer can provide young people. Luke addressed the questions from the floor and spoke personally about his life in property, as well as giving information on summer internships, apprenticeships and graduate programmes. It was a very worthwhile session for all involved at Millfield.
