I decided to share our horrible experience in the interest of others. We instructed Lawson Rutter for the sale of a property with a multi-agency agreement. Initially, they appeared amiable. Only later did we realize that they provided minimal feedback and never disclosed the names of viewers. They failed to negotiate with an interested party and refused to pass to us an offer they wished to submit, despite this being a legal obligation. Without us knowing it was the same person, the buyer turned to another agent, who successfully negotiated the sale. After completion, we were aggressively chased by a debt collector on behalf of Lawson Rutter alleging outstanding commission fees for introducing the buyer. We were treated like criminals. We had no idea of what had happened and asked Lawson Rutter for clarifications. Initially, they would not even answer our emails. Only after lodging a formal complaint and involving the TPO did we receive attention. Fortunately, customers have rights. TPO acknowledged multiple deficiencies and ultimately ruled that the second agent should have returned the sale to the first. Yet, had Lawson Rutter been able to negotiate with the buyer in the first place or provided us with viewers’ details, we would have avoided an ordeal spanning nearly a year.

Lawson Rutter have managed our property for over 14 years. We, as landlords, as well as our tenants, are so happy with the level of service. They are very responsive and have a great team of affordable repair, handymen etc to help with any issues that arrive. Always friendly and polite, I highly recommend!

Lawson Rutter were very professional throughout the whole tenancy process. Lisa was very helpful as she explained various stages of the signing process to those of us for whom it was the first time.
Tiffany and Loren were both flawless with their response times to our queries, and for any issues we had at the property there was usually a maintenance man there the next day convenient to us.
