For the future customers of this company, please be alert and aware of fictitious property viewing. You should check whether someone gets the opportunity to view the property far ahead of the day you are going to do it. My partner and I enquired about a house in Exeter managed by Legg & Co. They let us know that the property viewing is planned for Friday and Saturday, and they assigned me to the property viewing on Friday morning. However, nobody was at the house at the appointed time. When I called the office, They said there had been property viewings on Tuesday, and all of them applied for this house, so they closed the property viewing process. Several flaws in the service process came up. First, I am not sure why they did not let me know the change of status on property although they had abundant time from Tuesday. The attitude of an employee whom I called is also an issue. Admittedly, the property market is not a daily business so it may not be likely to contact the company Legg & Co for property in the future. Nevertheless, for the long-term business, it is not a good attitude to approach it like "whatever": our property is going to be sold, so it is done, do you think I care?... Read more

Legg and Co gave a very personal service when selling our house and also with the purchase of our new home. Nothing is too small nor to big for them, communication was excellent! Jane was great and I have to say Wendy was amazing keeping the chain together, I think most estate agents would have given up with the sale due to the amount of problems. I have been asked to remove my original review. Ok, I will now just shorten it. I am a cash buyer and have asked to view a property in Cranbrook for the last 2 weeks - we have had a variety of excuses back, I am sure that more than one person works here and could have shown me around. I will presume that they do not wish to sell this property and go elsewhere to a more professional firm - one that is geared around the buyer and not having to fit in with the agency and what suits them. Everyone always says “never trust an Estate Agent”! However, Legg and co are so very different. Jane at Legg and co has supported me through a house sale which has been so challenging as I live 250 miles away. Jane has been so encouraging every step of the way by communicating everything that is going on. She listens and acts on everything I have asked her to action. Her patience and commitment to attracting the right buyers was so important to me and she delivered. The first experience we had with Legg&Co was when viewing the first house on a long list. Louise was very friendly, engaging and knowledgeable about the local area (we knew because we lived down the same road). We were so impressed, we decided to use Legg&Co to sell our house too.
