Our experience of their service was as a buyer purchasing a house on their books. Even though they were representatives of the other party not us, the fact that they were so engaging, communicative and professional made sure that when bumps in the road appeared during the conveyance process we always felt like somebody was in control of resolving it and as a result all parties stayed the course. Avoid using freeman Forman. They hindered my property sale, the agents are rude both on phone and email. They pressure you into decisions based on their vested interests. They have little knowledge of regulations for supposed experts and fall apart at the seams if the sale is anything less than straight forward.
After completing you receive an automated ‘how was your experience’ email. If you try to reply with a negative score this doesn’t register and the page crashes. If you try to select 9 or 10 conveniently this then works. No surprise therefore that they get good ratings online if they are select about those they allow to be submitted!

A big thank you to all at Freeman Forman. My house sold in one day, following an afternoon of viewings. I found the team to be highly professional throughout. It was a particularly difficult period with buyers and sellers trying to complete before the stamp duty hike. Within 24 hours of my house going on-line, over a dozen people came to view it, and this was followed by several offers above the guide price – all expertly managed by the Tonbridge team. Right from the beginning, I have received excellent service, which has taken the stress out of putting my house on the market. The on-line details and superb photographs brought out the best of the property’s features. Professional and friendly, responses to queries were quick and helpful. After getting a few valuations for our property we selected Freeman Forman in Tonbridge as our estate agent. Another agent had offered a lower commission rate but FF provided the best communication by far and instilled the most confidence in us that they could sell our property. We liked that they were a well established estate agent and part of Countrywide. Despite having a bit of a bumpy ride with buyers, FF acted professionally and efficiently throughout. Any query we had was dealt with immediately and they went above and beyond to secure our buyers and see us through to completion. Having experienced a few other Tonbridge based estate agents, I would recommend FF above all others.

I can highly recommend the Freeman Foreman team in Tonbridge. Arnaud and Vicky were brilliant throughout my sale and purchase and guided me each step of the way. They are very knowledgable about what they do and provide an efficient, courteous and friendly service. When I look to move again (which I hope won't be for some years!) I would certainly return to them.
I could not recommend the Countrywide Conveyancing Service - sadly this wasn't a positive experience and would suggest that a local service in Tonbridge would have been a far better choice - lesson learnt for next time.

Myself and my sister used Freeman Foreman in Tonbridge to sell our late mothers flat. It was a very distressing time for us and the team at Freeman foreman went above and beyond to take the pressure off. They found us a wonderful buyer, and when that sadly fell through due to no fault of theirs or anyone’s, they found a new buyer in a matter of days.
Being part of a bigger group, (Countrywide), meant when we considered renting it out, they were able to put us in touch with their partner firm, and when it came to myself and my sister both signing paperwork and providing ID, it meant they were able to accommodate my sister visitIng a branch within the brand in London.
They really did what was best for us, and made the selling process, that came with its speed bumps, as stress free as possible.
Arnaud is professional, honest, and straight talking, and just the sort of person you want in your corner getting you the best deal. And Vicky handled our sale with such care, and as much determination to get the deal done as if it were her own.
Of course all the obvious things, lovely photos and description, good well vetted prospective buyers, but as with all of these things, you want someone who you can feel genuinely has an interest, and doesn’t just see you as the money you can make for them.
We were only selling a small 1 bed flat with Freeman foreman and they treated us and our property, with as much care and respect as if it were a palace.
I would not hesitate to recommend them, and will absolutely be using them in the future when it comes to selling my own home.

After visiting many estate agents along Tonbridge high street, I chose Freeman Forman to sell my property. This was based on the positive first meeting I had with Vicky, where it was clear I would be left in good hands. I also found staff at Freeman Forman to be more sincere and less "pushy" than other estate agents I visited.
The sales process went very smoothly, with good quality photographs taken, smart brochures published (Ben) and very quickly. several viewings arranged (mostly via Andrea), with a simple system to inform me of visits ahead of time. As I was abroad for most of the sales process, this was very helpful to me.
Vicky and team were able to find the right buyer for my property, with an offer arriving in the first 3 weeks and the asking price being met within 2 months of being advertised: a good result given the number of flats selling in Tonbridge at the moment.
Throughout the sales process, Vicky continued to act as a bridge between my solicitor and the buyer's, ensuring everything kept on track and consequently the sales process went very smoothly.
If purchasing or selling a property in Tonbridge, I would not hesitate to use Freeman Forman again.

Booked in two viewings, had stream of emails confirming them. Called on way to let them know we would be 5 minutes late. Turns out they had booked it on for a week later. No reason why, complaints on phone not dealt with.
Told would come back to us after finding out what happened, heard nothing about this.
Managed to book in an emergency viewing later in the day, they still turned up 15 minutes late.
We were told by the seller that this had also happened before. If you are selling with them good luck. If you are booking viewings with them make sure you pin them down on dates.
Overall a nightmare to deal with.

The service at by Vicky at Freeman Forman has been excellent.
Due to a relocation from the South West we were under severe time constraints. Vicky worked out appointment times so we weren't rushed and was able to dedicate her time to assisting us find the right house. She kept us fully up to date with proceedings even though we weren't in the area and she made our transition very easy.
We would definitely recommend buying a house via Freeman Forman.

Throughout the transaction I have felt valued, the team is lovely to deal with (Andrea, Vickie, Rob and John), always friendly and professional and responsive. Even when things didn't work out on the first house we tried to buy, they found us something even better and really worked hard to secure a deal for us. When we put our property on the market, we had a meeting in the comfort of our home to agree and discuss everything. Their professional photographer is also superb, his photos are definitely better than the average brochure you see flying about. John first came into our lives about a 18 months ago when we were preparing to sell our Victorian house in Tonbridge. We had more or less decided upon an agent and a selling price when John shoed initiative and approached us unsolicited to persuade us to give him a 2 week pre trial with him before going ahead with our plans. We were very sceptical as John indicated that he would achieve a much higher asking price than any of the other local agents have given us but he has a very engaging personality and we decided to give him a go. He proposed a different approach from the others, marketing to a London audience and offering an open house. Two weeks later, true to his word we had a house full of potential buyers and 3 (yes 3!!!!) offers of FULL asking price on the same day. Some 80 thousand pounds higher than any agent had suggested!!!!!! We were flabbergasted and obviously delighted. He advised us which offer to accept and steered us and the buyer all through the conveyancing which went smoothly right through to completion. Not only did he apply himself to our needs but he went over and beyond helping the buyer locate to Kent from London with advice with local schools, services etc and made the whole experience as stress free as possible for both sides. A true feat when you consider that during this whole time my husband and I were based abroad and had to rely on John's constant communication and assistance when needed.
I really cannot recommend him or his agency high enough.
