The friendly staff at Bracketts kept us well informed and made helpful suggestions during the ups-and-downs of a fairly typical property sale.
It took a long time, but the housing market has been pretty stagnant over the last couple of years, so I am just pleased that we all got it over the line. It was a "remote" sale, as the property had been left in a will, but that did not seem to be a significant issue with all the usual means to communicate online as well as by phone used as appropriate.

We sold my late father's property through Bracketts. Initially we were very impressed, the sales team were enthusiastic and helpful, ensured we received feedback from viewings promptly and managed to find buyers in what was a very difficult market. However, we were less than impressed by the progressions department, we felt we were left dangling for several weeks at a time without any news and important information about the condition of the chain was not passed on as quickly or as accurately as we would have hoped.

I bought my house from Bracketts and sold it through them again six years later, so have had experience with this estate agents from both sides of the process. In both cases they couldn’t have been more amazing. When buying, they showed me the perfect house on the day I first went in, not sending me around a load of houses that didn’t fit what I was after; when selling, they negotiated the price that I was hoping for within a week of the property going on the market! Their sales progressor, Janice, took all the stress out of dealing with conveyors and is nothing short of a legend. Most importantly, all of the team are so friendly and make a real effort to treat you as an individual; for me that personal touch makes all the difference. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

Matt and the team at Bracketts are fantastic. After our initial viewing all communications and feedback were excellent and things were progressing smoothly while the solicitors did their bit. It got to the point where we were 1 week away from exchange and things went horribly wrong with the sellers (They pulled out and wanted to re-list the property for no reason) we had already spent 1000s on legal fees and surveys. Thankfully Matt managed to get the deal across the line, if it hadn't had been for Matt we would have been back to square one.

After a negative experience with Bracketts nearly 9 years ago, I was adamant I wouldn't use them again but following a really great initial meeting with Matt who was both apologetic about the previous business without bad-mouthing his predecessor, I was happy to give them a try.
They agreed to match a competitor's fee and from then on, everyone we dealt with at Bracketts; Nick, Jamie, Lucy, Brian and of course Janice, was just lovely. Professional yet very personable. Communication was excellent throughout our purchase and sale, often filling in the gaps we had from our solicitors. We have just completed our sale which took longer than usual due to the lockdown. We wanted to write this review to express our gratitude to the great team at Bracketts in Tonbridge. Janice in particular was fantastic right the way through this transaction. Nothing was every too much trouble and she kept us updated on a daily basis. Jamie was also fantastic and again nothing was too much trouble and he was there throughout the whole process and lockdown reassuring us. I have had experience of letting from other agencies and my experience was nothing like the service I have received from the team at Bracketts. After reading some negative reviews I felt compelled to share my experience of excellence with Brackets. Having experienced letting agents from Crouch End, Wimbledon, Royal Victoria Docks and Tunbridge Wells I cannot commend Bracketts Tonbridge enough. I am now entering my 6th year with Bracketts and I can truly say over that period I have experienced nothing but a friendly, professional and "nothing is to much bother ' attitude throughout every aspect of the service they provide. I would happily 10 star if possible. So, Wendy, Abbey and the whole team carry on doing what your doing because your doing great.

Service at the beginning was amazing, however once we left the property the letting management team at brackets made accusations against us that were completely untrue and they were unwilling to help, causing us extremely stress and poor health.
They demanded that the key was returned the day we left the property even though we stated in our letter we would be leaving at the end of the month and handing the keys in then, this gave us no time to clean the property properly, which led to them taking more out of our deposit then was needed.
It became very petty and felt they were accusing us due to the personal issues they had with my partner.
No one should bring personal issues into a professional environment.
I would not recommend renting from brackets

We can not thank Bracketts of Tonbridge enough for their professionalism and assistance in selling our house. We went to Bracketts after a dreadful experience with another estate agents. Bracketts promoted our house and quickly introduced another buyer we were fully informed all the way of the progress. A special mention if Janice the sales progressor she is worth her weight in gold - nothing was too much trouble, she dealt with all my very regular phone calls calmly was always extremely reassuring, I feel she went the extra Mike to ensure our sale was successful. All the staff are great and would thoroughly recommend using Bracketts

I have used Bracketts Tonbridge several times for both purchases and Lettings, on each occasion they have been helpful, friendly and efficient.
This can sometimes be a difficult and stressful process but the team in Tonbridge perform the tasks with calm good humour and understood all my requirements.

I have never dealt with such an un-helpful, un-professional letting agent, their attitude as individuals and as a company is nothing short of appalling. There has been no proactive approach and no one willing to help, own or resolve any issues. They have an inability to return calls provide updates which should be the simplest tasks? I have rented properties for over 10 years and would safely say I would never, ever deal with Bracketts again. From minute one of the tenancy to getting the deposit returned as been an ordeal. . It's a shame I have to give them 1 star because they do not deserve that.

This is the second time I have used James H at Bracketts Tonbridge, the first time for a purchase and recently for a sale..James offered huge assistance and often after hours to help complete a tricky sale. He was backed up by Janice who kept me informed every step of the way and placed just the right amount of pressure on all parties to complete in a tricky situation. I highly recommend the team at Bracketts, professional, knowledgeable, experienced and seemingly un-flappable. 5 star *****

We are new to Tonbridge and have found Brackets incredibly helpful with giving us local advice. Unfortunately we had to deal with another local agent previously who were awful, luckily the house we were looking to purchase was with Brackets. With each step of the purchase they have been very supportive and informative. So far I have dealt with Jamie, James and Janice and could not recommend this friendly, professional and proactive agency more highly. If we ever have to sell a property in Tonbridge I will be using Bracketts.
