After a year of disappointment with different people at different times state agents I’m happy to say I’ve finally been excepted for a flat that I wanted. The names says it all "Leaders", the one way stop to our apartment solution. The past 3 weeks had been really tough and exhausting for us - hovering here and other places and agents, finding an apartment. It's unless we found 'Molly' an enthusiastic and warming members in leaders team. She helped us to find and view couple of properties when she heard our part of the story. It's nearly been a week where she helped to finalize the one in Tonbridge, Kent.
Referencing, documentation formalities, signing of an agreement were made ease, simple and short. It's day 6th with leaders and we got ours. I am indebted and would be always obliged for the concern and support that LEADERS have shown to us. You are and will always be the LEADERS.

Possibly THE single best experience I've had with a letting agent. I had to move at super short notice and Molly was exceptional. I'm not the easiest of clients (a bit demanding!) and Molly bent over backwards to serve her own client (landlord) but also do everything she could to meet my needs and she did it all with patience, grace and humour. Nothing fell through the cracks, it happened insanely smoothly and quickly - and the rest of the team have been amazing as well. From the first phone call Megan was professional, helpful, and always quick to come back to us with any queries we had. She really went above and beyond, even offering to stay later at the office so we could collect our keys. Leaders have managed two of my properties in Tonbridge for just over a year. While the service started in a satisfactory way, the last four months have been beyond awful.
From requesting £1600 upfront for a painting job that then didn’t get organised for months, to not dealing with a broken shower door or leaks in the flat, I’ve been left completely shocked at how long they are willing to leave me with NO service. Not only have they continued to take the management fee each month, but they’ve also taken some fees twice - only rectified when I’ve gone through and checked my statements.
Think twice before you employ Leaders to manage your properties - you are likely to end up doing most of the work yourself and it will cost you.

Finding our flat I had the pleasure of working with both Amelia and Tilly out of the Tonbridge office. They were both so helpful and professional the whole time. My family was moving from Wales (with a newborn and a cat) and they were understandably flexible when it came to arrival times as we were driving and couldn't predict how many stops we might have to take.
The only fault I can give Leaders (not the Tonbridge office) is that the admin team that deals with the contracts and tenancy agreements weren't responsive at all. My wife's name was (and still is) mis-spelled on the tenancy agreement despite 3 attempts to have it corrected. In those three attempts, we never once got an email or call back. So... prepare to be frustrated with the contract part of the letting experience if there are any items that need modification. Once again, this isn't under the Tonbridge's office control, which is why I still gave 5-stars since this relates just to this office - but you'll need to interact with this affice if you're buying, selling, or letting.

Molly Jewell was my assigned agent for a recent viewing and Wow what a breathe of fresh air she was !!! Having had a few negative dealings with other estate agencies it’s so nice to finally meet a firm that know how to be supportive and act professionally. Molly greeted me at the door with a smile (despite us both being soaked from the rain) and was happy to answer all my questions, whilst not making me feel like they were stupid or unimportant; it was clear she’d done her research on the property, which is something any client can appreciate. Even after the viewing she went above and beyond to ensure I had all the relevant information needed to make a decision - what’s more is (unlike other firms) I wasn’t made to feel pressured / rushed in the decision making process. She was both incredibly friendly and patient with me. Molly definitely didn’t make me feel like this was just about “making a sale”. She instead took the time to understand my needs and I genuinely felt like she gave that personal touch of putting herself in my shoes when it came to getting the best out of my new home. I highly recommend Leaders as an estate agent I would use but also Molly Jewell as an individual. My mind would certainly be at ease if I had someone like Molly handling my property.

Having first used them in 2018 and been impressed with both their diligence and professionalism its fair to say the team have continued to develop and go from strength to strength.
Whereas a smooth sale is impressive its only during these testing times where external factors such as a global pandemic, lock downs, stamp duty holidays and continued uncertainty really allow a team to flex their muscle.

We have recently rented a property via Leaders at Tonbridge. The agent dealing with our let, Carl, has been an excellent representative for the company.
He has dealt with everything promptly, efficiently and courteously. He answered all of our queries honestly, finding answers quickly if he did not know immediately. He always returned our calls promptly and messages left for him were always passed on.
We have also been pleased with all other aspects of our rental.

I live in a different part of the country from the property that I sold through Leaders and they absolutely took care of everything in my absence. They kept me up-to-date by phone and email. From the moment I first walked into their offices I was so impressed with them. All the staff have been really helpful however I have to mention Katie and Anthony separately for the wonderful job they are doing. Katie has been excellent. She is helpful, friendly and always prompt with replying to emails or messages. I found Anthony also very professional and helpful. Would highly recommend this Estate agent.

I would highly recommend Leaders Tonbridge. Fiona and Jenny in the Property Management Department have been extremely helpful with the negotiations when the tenant vacated following a 7 year tenancy. Going above and beyond their remit. Not only have they negotiated successfully on the deductions with my tenant, but they have arranged for the refurbishment or the property ready for a new tenant to move in. Nothing has been too much trouble and have kept me fully informed at each stage.

After a nothing but horrendous experience with Ashton Burkinshaw over the road from Leaders, my short time so far with Leaders has been a real breath of fresh air. The team are friendly from the moment you walk in. Plus they understand that things don't always go to plan. Instead of hunting you down they use a mixture of common sense and great customer service to help you out where they can. It's been a pleasure renting through them so far and I would recommend them to anyone looking to do the same

Thought I had a good experience, agreed a price with the owner only for an unforeseen circumstance to occur making us unable to come sign the papers due to a family member being ill, we informed Memmet of our issue asking him to hold on to them for five days as I had work and was unable to get down to sign them during the week, we heard nothing back from him. Come Saturday the house was gone to someone else.

Leaders Tonbridge (formerly Bennett & Stevens) managed my property on a lettings basis for about 7 years and I always found them to be professional, helpful and understanding of my needs as a landlord.
